I needed pens so I purchased these in the black and blue inks. I'm unsure what the deal is with these pens but no matter where I purchase them from the ink isn't strong, meaning it comes out light. I only paid a dollar for them. Of the ones I've already used, they do write smoothly.

This "Xtra Smooth" pen is just as nice as the expensive roller ball pens. I'm picky about my pens and was truly surprised with the performance of this pen. Make sure you get "Xtra Smooth" ;)

Just clean, crisp lines every time. Ink flow is consistent, and the black is a nice rich tone — not that faded gray nonsense. Also: they’re lightweight, comfortable, and somehow feel nostalgic and professional at the same time.This is the pen I reach for without thinking. OK so these are a little expensive here, not only because you're only getting 10 for the price but we are paying the quality tax for BIC pens. And fear not because the quality is here. They're really nice to write with. The classic no fuss design works tirelessly and effortlessly as you know exactly what you're going to get pen after pen, right down to the last drop of ink.These come in a plastic bag, and are very easy to open... not so much to reclose after so you probably will be moving them to something else to store them.Overall, fantastic pens that feel nice to write with.
