Great product and performance. We saved a bundle doing it ourselves.

Bought to repair a couple RV water lines with PEX fittings. biggest hassle was getting the package open and then keeping the crimpers on the clamp while compressing but it's do-able. Good kit to have on hand just in case...

I cinched up pex to copper fitting, worked flawlessly first time. Very easy to figure out, but does require some strength to use. If you plan on using it several times a year it is perfect. If you have a large job or doing work daily you will end up with some huge pec muscles. I would suggest a ratchet style tool for that type of work or if working between floor joists. This new smaller version with a shorter nose section is nice because it takes up less space in the tool bag/box/drawer. Even though the tool is compact it might not work in a compact area since the handles need to be open nice and wide. The cinch tool is extremely well built, heavy thick metal, with no flex. The bonus cutter tool works, but feels cheap, thin metal and flimsy. The actual crimps are definitely stainless steel, uniform and no sharp edges. I couldn't find the location of manufacturer on the tool or package, but everything seems of great quality except the cutters seems like a Chinese export.

I thought a lot about buying because of some references that I saw, but the truth is that it works very well and because of its size it is practical and very easy to use.

I needed to replace a couple of pex clamps due to a slow leak, so I ordered this tool and clamps. I was able to replace the clamps and used the cinch tool. It would have cost me at least $125 for a plumber to come out to our home to fix the leak.

Good cinch too set. Good strong steel clamps too.Just have to get used to the crimp tool all the way before attempting a full opening to insert the clamp nob.Good area clearance with the shorter handle, just takes a bit more muscle to close on the clamps but really makes a good tight crimp. Very satisfied.

I had to replace a hot/cold single handle spigot in the garage. I converted to a standard hot and cold spigot and added shut off valves as well. This worked great. The cutter worked very well.

Used for a small sink job. It does require a fair fit of strength to operate though. Depending on the angle, your hand size and strength it may require two hands at time to compress.

tool is compact and feels great to squeeze on fittings. Cutter is also very good

Good little PEX starter kit. The short handle is good for tight spaces but unless you have massive hands and gorilla grip strength you will need both hands to clamp. Uses the same bands that you can get at any box store. I made around 40 connections and not a single leak. At 30 seconds per connection it's a real time saver over copper soldering.
