The only downside is that it's mostly suede, so it looks more like a very dark gray than true black. The laces are somewhat annoying, they have a heavy texture, so are hard to pull tight, and one end is already off. They can be replaced though, I suppose. I like that the soles do not have deep lugs to trap mud, helps keep your vehicle clean. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ the upper is coming apart after a very short time. *by J***0 on Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2020* These guys fit as expected, and a comfortable all day long, but I'm concerned by the fraying I'm experiencing already on the upper around my ankle, it's only happening on one pair so I'm hoping this is a freak occurrence and not a design flaw. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ inexpensive yet good working shoes... *by W***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2019* you can never go wrong for the price of this pair of shoes. i work in a home improvement store and on my feet for 8 to 10 hours a day on concrete floor. so far it has hold its own by providing me more than basic protection. i haven't seen any signs of wear and tear on this pair i have since i bought it 2 1/2 months ago. the traction could be improved though so my suggestion would be for them to come out with slip resistant soles, then it would be an almost perfect work shoe for me. overall i am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend them for light to medium duty use. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hu/products/143818682-black-hammer-composite-toe-cap-men-work-safety-sneakers-lightweight](https://www.desertcart.hu/products/143818682-black-hammer-composite-toe-cap-men-work-safety-sneakers-lightweight) --- *Product available on Desertcart Hungary* *Store origin: HU* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
