Absolutely fantastic GPU!! If you’re looking for a 2080 Super, I can’t recommend this highly enough. Take BFV for example, 120 FPS, ultra settings, DX11 all at 63 degrees max with hardly any fan noise. Gigabyte have refined the cooling system and it’s flawless. Now, it’s not the best looking card, it’s nice but maybe the EVGA cards are more to my taste. However, when you consider the price £699.99(!), a cooling system that’s had 4 years of refinement and the out of the box OC, I truly think this is the best 2080 Super around. I mean you could pay an extra £100 for the Asus. You might get an extra one or two FPS but there’s no value there. I summary, if you want 1440p at high end FPS and a TI is out of your reach, then look no further than this gem of a card from gigabyte!

So happy with this card. Honestly so fast and getting incredible FPS with ray tracing and dlss enabled. Control - at 1440p 144hz hitting 70-80 FPS it’s insane! This card is a beast and don’t pay attention to others who slate RTX cards. If you’re going to get an RTX 2080 card, get a super - especially this card as the performance is incredible for the price point. Gaming at 1440p 144hz is a breeze with this card on max settings - RTX on + Dlss 4K hits amazing FPS too but RTX has a significant hit. But obvious as 4K with real time ray tracing is seriously powerful. This card manages to get stable FPS. Perfect card :)

Compared to my old GTX1070, this thing is a beast! I was a little concerned with all the stories of coil whine with the RTX2080 series, but I have to say that I haven't had any whine at all, except maybe from my credit card. Absolutely destroys RDR2 at 1440p, almost ultra settings. A solid 65-75FPS. Very happy with that. I nearly went with a Ti model, but glad I didn't spend the extra 400 quid. Highly recommended card.

Bought to increase frame rate in IL2 BoS using Oculus VR headset. Previous card was 1070TI. New card boosted screen frame rate from 120 fps to up to 190 fps in Ultra graphics mode. With the same settings and VR it can only handle 45fps, but it is a consistent fps whereas the previous card dropped to mid thirties sometimes under load.

Great product. Works with the top graphics settings on all games I have tried this on so far. Also uses a GeForce Experience application which automatically detects what games are installed and then configures the game for the best settings for the graphics card automatically. This feature is really useful.

Es muy potente, muchísimo, pero no os vayáis a creer que mucho más que una rtx 2070, no merece él precio de más que pagarás... La mía porque fallaba, que sí no ni de casualidad me pillaba esta.

performante,silenziosa (sotto i 50° le ventole sono inattive),con un sistema intelligente di rotazione delle ventole che migliora la dissipazione della scheda quando è a pieno carico,impattando meno sulla rotazione e rumore delle ventole. pochi vezzi rgb,se non nella scritta,che permettono a Gigabyte di offrire un prodotto validissimo,ad un ottimo prezzo, che non sfigura con le "sorelle" di altre marche e di pari potenza,questa versione denominata "OC" porta la RTX 2080 Super, ad avere un leggero overclock sul core e a delle temperature di esercizio decisamente più basse(grazie al sistema WindForce a 3 ventole) rispetto al modello reference di Nvidia che ne ha 2 e non prevede lo spegnimento sotto una soglia minima. cosa mi è piaciuto: è oggettivamente più compatta di quanto le foto possano far pensare,non eccessivamente lunga,le ventole sono più piccole di quanto sembra,ha un consumo energetico,a pieno carico,di 250 watt,potendosi spingere sotto overclock fino a circa 300watt quindi consiglio un buon alimentatore 80+ gold certificato da minimo 650 watt,connessione a 8+6 pin sul pcb,non è eccessivamente pesante,supera a stento il chilo di peso,ha una piastra posteriore di qualità superiore, la sensazione al tatto è che non abbiano risparmiato neanche sui componenti in plastica,tutto sembra di ottima qualità. Stra-consigliata per chi gioca in full-HD e non vuole scendere a compromessi ottenendo il massimo,anche in termini di fps,ad impostazioni ULTRA, ottima anche in 2k dove tutto ad ULTRA restituisce un framerate tra gli 80 e 100 fps,in 4k occorre settare a dovere le impostazioni grafiche per ottenere un bilanciamento tra qualità e almeno 60 fps,a naso,non avendo un 4k,ma avendo letto molte recensioni, i settaggi dei vari giochi di ultimissima generazione dovrebbero stare tra "ALTO & MOLTO ALTO",invece a settaggi ULTRA potreste dovervi accontentare di 25/30 fps. La differenza rispetto alla RTX 2080 "normale" e minima,siamo nell'ordine di un 10/15% in più di prestazioni,tuttavia,la Super ha una manciata di RT-core in più, gli RT-core servono per il ray-tracing,che aumentano le performance quando ci saranno più giochi,rispetto ad oggi,che ne faranno uso,inoltre va ricordato che la RTX 2080 "normale" è nel suo ciclo finale di vita e non sarà più prodotta. ciò detto,la qualità costruttiva si percepisce,Gigabyte è sinonimo di qualità,la potenza c'è tutta,se potete economicamente,mi sento assolutamente di consigliarla.

Ho preso questa scheda per sostituire una Inno3D RTX 2080 Super 8GB Gaming OC X3 che mi aveva dato parecchi problemi con temperature alte ed instabilità sui giochi; questa Gigabyte invece è davvero un gran bel prodotto grazie soprattutto all'efficiente sistema di dissipazione windforce 3 che mantiene ottime temperature di esercizio sia per la gpu che per le ram ed i mosfet; nel mio case (cooler master CM 690 II) supera i 70° soltanto con carichi molto pesanti (es. Battlefield 5 con raytracing attivo); eccezionale anche la silenziosità, in idle ed al di sotto dei 50° le 3 ventole rimangono spente; all'accensione del pc non produce alcun rumore mentre altre 2080 sparano le ventole al massimo per alcuni secondi; da notare che la ventola centrale ruota in direzione opposta rispetto alle altre per evitare di creare turbolenze. Mi è piaciuto molto anche il layout della scheda che non risulta eccessivamente ingombrante, altri prodotti superano i 30 cm di lunghezza e/o occupano 2.5 se non 3 slot, rendendo complicata se non impossibile l'installazione, a meno che non si possegga un case tower o comunque molto capiente. Ultimo ma non ultimo fattore da considerare, i 4 anni di garanzia registrando il prodotto sul sito della Gigabyte, a mio avviso ben più importanti dei bundle di videogiochi offerti con altre schede, cosa che comunque fa salire il prezzo; a questo proposito, l'ho pagata poco meno di 800€, prezzo elevato ma non così folle com'era quando era stata appena messa in commercio.
