While I'm unsure and skeptical about the claim this thing will help with beard growth, it's an exceptionally good balm!I didn't do much in the way of looking after my beard until about 6 weeks ago, I now use beard shampoo/conditioner, oil, and this to finish off. My beard was course and messy, all I'd do is wash it every couple days with shampoo designed for the hair cause I didn't think it mattered, but hand on heart, and the difference is night and day. So first things first - LOOK AFTER YOUR BEARD!With that said, USE THIS TO LOOK AFTER YOUR BEARD (And no, the brand aren't paying me to say this) it just genuinely is that good. If I just shampoo/condition my beard and use oil, it's fairly soft for an hour or so and then goes back to being a bit rougher, if I do all of the former and then use this balm, my beard will literally stay soft all day.And on top of that, it tames the hair a lot more for a few hours so my beard is a lot neater, AND, it smells AMAZING! I got the Mango and Vanilla scented one and honestly the smell is strong enough that that, along with my hair product, carries a scent around all day that I'm honestly in love with, I could get away with not wearing aftershave (I don't not wear it but still)It's gorgeous. Really, really high quality balm. Really moisturizing, really nice smell, does exactly what a balm is supposed to. And honestly, if this thing was 3, maybe 4x the price it is, I'd buy it and see the value in it. It really is that good.

The balm does what it is supposed to do! Holds my beard in place whole day almost no issues there. Gives a nice shine as well(which if you are nit a fan off, can wipe with a tissue). I wash my face lightly many times a day and it still holds it together. The only issue for me is that the scent is not the best. Though it vanishes after 2-3 hours so not a big problem . But I choose Cherry and I am not a big fan of it. Maybe I’ll try some other scent next time.l but keeping the beard soft and in place is its main goals and it does them nicely!

This is the 2nd pot I have bought, the first was the mango and vanilla which I really liked, not so keen on this one but that is due to my personal preference on the scent, does hold well not super strong but does the job and if you love the smell of coconut it will be perfect for you I just prefer the smell of the vanilla and mango so will go back to that I think.

I've used Bearded Gent beard oils in the past and always been really happy. Thought I'd try the balm and it was excellent.It smells great and after the first few uses really easy to apply (a little goes a long way), left beard feeling smoother and less straggly heairs making a break for freedom.I would recommend this particularly for longer beards, I found the oil easier to use on my beard from shorter (up to about 2 months growth) but since it's got a bit longer I find the balm easier to use.

This has kept my beard in great condition, and I have no problem recommending it, although it may not be to everyone's taste.I had the vanilla and tobacco version, and the smell is pleasant and not overpowering. However, the vanilla is somewhat lost, and I would have preferred it be a little stronger. The tobacco smell comes through well and reminds me of a nice pipe tobacco.The feel is a little greasy for me, but it coats my beard well and combs through nicely. It doesn't do much in the way of hold, but holds my beard in good condition.Overall, it's not without it's faults, but for the price it is a very good choice, especially for someone starting out with beard products.

Was an okay product, initially purchased for the buttery consistency shown in youtube reviews but the scent wasn't reminiscent of Cherry Bakewell however it was unpleasant. I would like to try one of the other balms before fully praising or writing off the brand.Thanks.

It feels great to apply and makes my beard super soft - definitely on the softer side of balms with very little wax content (if any), I use this one more like a butter for when I want to condition - not for hold.Two gripes -1) Mine smells only of lime - I was hoping for a balanced scent. As it is if I add an average amount the scent disappears quickly, or if I add a lot it is just sickly sweet for ages. I really dont smell any Cedarwood at all2) The jar label is super tacky if you have damp hands, it just feels weird.I use a little of this one if I have a hard hair day at work (lots of wind, lots of diesel fumes), but if I want something to wear when socializing I use something else.
