Kenda K-1047 MTB Small Block 8 Folding Bead DTC Bike Tire, Black, 26-Inch x 1.95-Inch

It gripped way better than expected on trails. Great on mountain single track and held up it slippery corners to. Really thought I'd slip out but didn't. Good tire!

Nice tire for my largely flat, mostly dirt trails. Light, good grip. Punctures pretty easily if thorns are a big issue where you ride. Also, I've snakebitten them a couple of times due to a combination of high speed, hard rocks, and poor technique. Very fast, good grip on dirt trails, good enough to ride on paved sections without feeling like you're pushing a tractor uphill, not great when it comes to thorny puncture or snakebite resistance. I use them front and rear on two bikes 26X1.95 all around. Grippier than they look and easy to push. Would not advise in thorny areas, taking big hits on rocks, or fast downhills where front tire slideout would be disastrous.

This is the best tire I've found for the price for Mtb biking. Good gripping on hard pack trails, excellent cornering and has exceptional wear resistance.
