can anyone tell me how wide this is? The bottom looks contoured (wrap around ) I wondered what the back width is at the widest point. thanks!

The bottom is about 16 inches wide. It fits perfectly in every chair that I have used without any issues. I've used it on chairs from several airplanes, office chairs, many restaurant's and in my car and my truck. When I used it onboard planes it was envied by a lot of people. After talking with them, I offered to let them try it on their chair and they totally wished they had one. It has that much comfort. I've found that they are built to last too. One of mines is about 10 years old. It sits on my wheelchair and a newer one (almost 3 years old - was bought here on Amazon for the best price - about $70) I didn't buy the seat cushion because I already have one but the one from ObusForme sure looks comfortable.  Btw,  I'm 6'3" and weigh 350lbs. This back support from ObusForme is the only manufacture I will ever buy from when it comes to medical and physical supports. Does this support the neck?  I have a neck issue and need my neck supported and my head to rest on it

If you get the neck pillow in the right place for you (it's adjustable) it will support your neck.  I had lower back issues and I used it for my lower back.  I now have sever neck issues and can't sit in any chair long enough to evaluate

30.5 in high; 18 in wide; ~4.5 in. deep. I have used these for over 40 years, wore out the first completely, had to make a new cover for another, currently own three. They are the best back supports you can find. They will make almost any chair orthopedically correct. My wife uses one, too, as does my adult son. These were getting hard to find, glad to see them available again. The additional "lumbar pillow" also makes a good head rest.
