One step attachment.. Simple Great Idea for quick attachment .. Surprisingly Bright. Took our new to us used Lund deep for the first time out and, of course, dark come before coming back in. Our son took his boat out and had this light as a spare. I bought us one and going to get another and pay it forward to someone else boating at night. Safety is very important and respect DNR Rules in IN. Please read up on red and green lights meaning while other boaters are boating at night.. They are very bright for there tiny appearance and very easy to install!

I bought these to go on the front of my small inflatable fishing boat. At night I only fish on small lakes near shore in calm weather. I wanted to at least make a modest effort at satisfying the running light regulations. My package arrived timely and well packaged. The lights are bright and appear perfect for my purposes. I did have a small issue with one of them. The clasp that holds the light onto the boat rail had pinched the rubber and nicked it. So that broke just as a rubber band with a nick in it would break. That was not the end of the world though. I could have engineered a way to make it work. But I never got a chance to do that. Before I started thinking about ways to make it work, I got an email from Don at Always Quality Plus Parts asking about my purchase. I told him what had happened and without hesitating, even though it was 40 days into it before I got around to responding to him, he said, "no worries, I am sending you a new one today". And he did. In fact, he sent me two. One as a replacement, and one as a goodwill gesture....with several batteries. We all know that most of the inexpensive stuff we buy these days is from China. And we also all know that with Chinese goods, "you pays your money and you takes your chances" as the saying goes. But these guys took all the risk out of it. I paid very little money, and they took the risk out of the chances. So, am I happy with my purchase? Well, I think the lights will be perfect for my purposes and I am 100% satisfied. And I am beyond %100 satisfied with the customer service.

I have a small inflatable pontoon boat (a Colorado XT) and needed some navigation lights for my nighttime outings. Not wanting to hard-wire the lights to my trolling motor battery, I saw these Bright Eyes lights as a possible solution so I ordered a set of red and green lights and a pack of two white lights. Prompt service from Always Quality Plus Products had them delivered when promised.The silicone loops fit nicely around my 1-1/8" OD frame tubes using the included loop clip and they look like they would fit around tubes from 1 inch to about 1-1/2 in diameter. The hard plastic light module itself fits inside the flexible silicone sheath and is not sealed watertight, but it does shed splashes and mist pretty well. The four position switch toggles from a rapid blink, to a slower blink, to steady on, and back to off. They came with batteries installed, as well as a pair of extra CR2032 button batteries for each light, which was a nice surprise!My first encounter with my local marine police boat went quite well (Southern Alabama, USA). He congratulated me on wearing my PFD, cautioned me about my hip waders and said he was fine with the port and starboard lights, but wanted me to have a different stern light. I had put the white lights in back near the trolling motor, but he said I needed a white light with 360 degree visibility mounted higher than the other lights. Now I have my 360 anchor light, and use the two white Bright Eyes lights aimed inward to help me change lures at night.These lights have worked out perfectly for me and I will order a backup set to keep as spares.

Bought it for a friend's boat. As this is winter he has not been able to use them yet but likes the idea of them. Product seems good.

So I'm writing this to follow up on a pair of the these rubber wrapped/plastic housing LED "Bright Eyes lights". My initial impression was that they were nice and compact and even came with spare batteries which is a nice touch. After going on a fishing trip with these lights in my fishing bag, my bag got soaked in the rain and sat in my garage for 1 day. When I went to take the lights out of the package and found one of the lights had rust forming on the internal circuit board and was stuck on so I had to remove the battery to turn it off. I noticed that water/condensation was in the "water proof circuit board". I suppose they'd work, not sure if i just got a bad light because the other one held up to the water just fine, just seems like the rear battery cover doesn't seal on very tightly.**update 6/25/18After talking with customer service regarding the issue above, they shipped me at no cost a set of their aluminum housing round style clip on lights, see below for the exact description. These lights are housed in aluminum with a screw on rear cover similar to a mini flashlight with a seal, much more confident in this set and turns out would've only been $4-5 more to get this set to get the quality i was looking for. For back up navigation lights, these are easy to store on the boat and have in case of one or both navigation lights failing. I ordered extra and keep in my sail bag. I have been on another person's boat when their nav lights failed. I highly recommend getting these ASAP.NOTE: I cannot rate their water resistance as I have not had them exposed to water yet
