Pylex13901 1 Step Stair Frame, Steel

We were supposed to get a molded concrete step from our house into our garage, but this somehow kept getting missed, both during home construction and when they came back to do the post-construction pick list and when I had the contractor & his crews out for warranty work near the end of our one year warranty. So, we'd been using two mismatched cinder blocks leftover from construction for more than two years when I happened across these. Perfect solution, WAY cheaper than having someone come out to form a concrete step for us, super easy to install and unlike cement, we could use it immediately. So far, it's very sturdy, the height is very comfortable and we love not stepping down to mismatched cinderblocks.

From the other reviews it appeared you only get one in a package so I ordered two. There were two in each pack which makes sense since you need at least two for a step. Very sturdy and easy to install. Will keep extra set for future use.

Amazon or the seller, does not clearing define the number of units you are purchasing. One or Two?! The details state: "Item package one" but two arrived for me. While it seems logical two are needed, what if you need five to assemble a step down from a two tier deck? An option to purchase just one does makes sense and should be available. I took a risk and started by purchasing what I hoped was two. Lucky for me, I received two units, so ordered four more (two per pack). One unit was damaged (badly bent, but "easily" hammered out) but it's not clear the damage was shipping in a plastic bag, or quality control (Chinese product) was lacking.

These brackets worked well for our outdoor wooden steps to our deck.

Everyone else said they got 2 in the package, and it says 1 step, not one bracket. You obviously need two to make a step. 1 bracket for $45?? Go get the MTB ones. 1/3 of the price for the same thing. Currently $30 for two brackets.

I ordered two products being unsure how many were included (reason for only 4 stars). Each came with two supports. Which worked out for my step, as it is nice and sturdy now. The frame is very sturdy and well built. Very easy to install also.

This product is very misleading as I bought 1 thinking it was for one step but you need to buy 2 to get the job done. the Illustration shows you a photo of a one step but there was only a single stringer my advice stay clear. you can't make a step with one stringer.PS quality of the single stringer is very good.
