Solid Planer!
Love this planer so far. Very smooth results, easy to set up and get working. Noise level is average for this type of planer, but the accuracy is very good!

This planer is for our woodshop.
My husband is satisfied with the planer's performance. He particularly likes the gauge that lets him know the thickness of the planed board. The shipping box was in bad shape and the styrofoam packaging was crushed. As a result a handle was missing, but the planer works fine. He rigged a handle with a metric wrench, which works fine.

would not plane boards very good had to constantly pull wood thru even when only taking 1/16 off

Works well, but may need adjustment
In general, the tool seems well made and is fairly easy to operate. However, mine definitely did *not* come set up square from the factory. The cutterhead was about 1/16" higher on the left side of the unit. They don't provide instructions for adjusting this, but I was able to figure it out. There is a chain drive on the bottom of the unit that causes both screws to rotate in sync. You can remove the gear from one of them, adjust the height of the right hand side as needed to match the left, and then reinstall the gear.

Does not work Well
When sheering at lowest minimal fraction you need to pull wood out by hand. Tried with different type of wood same results. Very loud during operation and usage.
