This baffle works great to keep the squirrels off the top and keeps birds dry from rain and snow as well as the seed.

Great domes and weather protection from wind and rain. I like that the feeders can come to the very top offering better protection from light winds and rain. Otherwise bring your feeders inside... I live in Seattle and have to use common sense. Anyway... some bird feeders do not fit this style dome that has a 2" fit for their feeders so I motified by getting a plastic plant liner about 10" and cutting a slit in them turn upside down and bring up the hanging cord. Then tape shut with shipping tape. Then put the dome over it and it fits nicely without wobbling all over. I'm sure this will deter squirrels too.

A must to keep your seed dry and long lasting! Any tube design bird feeder exposed to the elements ALL need this product. I live in Florida where the summer rains are a daily occurrence and I can't imagine using a tube feeder without this. It is large and the dome sit directly on top of the tube feeder maximizing protection for the feeder ports. This also prevents it from unnecessary swinging/swaying which birds don't really care to eat from a "carnival ride" platform.DON'T get the domes with a hanging hook. All they do is add more distance between the feeding ports and the dome. Think about it...if you are under an umbrella in a driving rain storm, you are not about to hold the umbrella high and away from you. You want it down close.Though pricey, you can tell this is not some cheap thin mil plastic. It is what is necessary to reduce (not totally eliminate) your seed from exposure due to rain and moisture. I have two now and even some of the birds that are not feeding even enjoy a break from the elements under this dome.

Very well made and works perfectly. It is very large, and accomodates the large hanger of a big feeder like the Aspect perfectly. Beautiful crystal clear, hope that lasts.

This is the only weather baffle that is wode enough & thick enough to keep squirrels off my feeders. I have tried so many plastic, metal etc. You will meed the 18 inch, smaller will not stop them.

It is easy to install on my Aspects Super Tube birdfeeder. I have only had it a couple of days but so far has kept the birdseed dry on a rainy day and kept the pesky squirrels from raiding the feeder.

Great dome. Just ordered and received from Amazon. Fits my smaller tube feeders great. One of the two top slots fits the smaller diameter tubes. This is the same large dome WBU sells. I purchased the large dome from WBU about five years ago, cost a bit over $50. After that time period I noted that the plastic was turning white which was bothersome to me. No, the birds don't care what color it is! I called Aspects as the dome has a 'lifetime warranty' on it but the nice lady I spoke to at Aspects said that discoloration was not covered in the lifetime warranty. Anyway, first dome went in the recycle can and I bought this one from Amazon. Much better price, same 'warranty'. Won't seem like such an expensive trashcan filler five years from now.

This baffle is very nice as far as it's size and construction. However, it adds a lot of weight to the bird feeder since it is not supported by its own hanger but rather by the top of the bird feeder. As soon as I put the baffle on, a squirrel looked up at it and then immediately climbed the shepherd's hook and sat on top of the baffle. He didn't make it down to the bird feeder itself. However, I never had a squirrel even climb up the shepherd's hood before. He seemed to be very familiar with baffles. I mostly purchased the baffle to keep the birdseed dry during the rainy season. In the end, I decided to take the baffle down and attach an umbrella to the top of the shepherd's hook with a bungee cord. No more squirrel climbing the pole and the seed stays dry. A much cheaper solution.
