OEM only way to go. (this one is for non crank sensor)

item does not describe as it being a non sensor. now i have lost my chance to return for the right part and have to buy another timing cover. not fun losing money.

can you go wrong with a GM part for a GM vehicle. I bought this to use on 5.7 vortec project where I may remove the fuel injection and related sensors and then go old school carb on a project truck that uses this engine as a power-plant doner.

this cover is usless
my bad for not reading the reviews but when it was a genuine GM part and didnt have leak problems i though i was good to go . So now i get to buy another one as i didn't get my block and crank back from machine shop before my return date had already passed,never inspected cover as i didn't realize GM even used plastic cover without a crank sensor ! everyone that i have worked on has had a sensor in the bottom of cover. or else a good old metal one .

DOES NOT HAVE CRANK SENSOR HOLE.
Does not fit 99 models might not fit any late model 5.7 since most, if not all suv and trucks have a crank trigger. THIS COVER DOES NOT HAVE A CRANK SENSOR HOLE.
