Smart Garage Door Opener,TEEKAR Voice APP Remote Control WiFi Garage Door Switch Controller Compatible with Alexa/Siri/Google Home/IFTTT

One of the cheapest units at the time of this review. I'm using the Smart Life app which gets used with a lot of other smart devices (such as the smart outlets I also have). Google Assistant integration is seamless and commands execute fast (<2 seconds). Smart Life accurately logs the door events and the open/closed indicator works accurately. I haven't tried the schedule function (having a door do something automatically while unattended sounds like a bad idea), but I'm sure it works. Only weird thing is Google Assistant defaults to seeing this as a switch, so the commands are "turn on"(open) or "turn off"(close) the garage door. Not sure if there's any way to modify that or not.Hooked it up to my Overhead Door Legacy opener and used an old LG USB phone charging adapter to power the unit.

I am using this with Android phone and the App is pure garbage. It was very difficult to get all the additional apps it needed to function and then it is very annoying with its constant random alerts. It will send "Garage Door Open" and "Garage Door Closed" alerts day and night at random intervals of 3 minutes to 3 hours. I would not mind getting an alert every hour (or any interval of MY choosing) if I left the door open (as long as I could disable it if I wanted to). But I do not see a need to be informed constantly that the door is closed.

I am slowly making my home into a smart home, with that said I am trying to get devices like this one that work with smart home, alexa, and google home. I have tested this on all platforms thus far and it works great. Note that this device works only on the 2.5 ghz frequency range. It can be also confusing to know which position your garage door is in when your not directly standing in front of it or if you don't have a camera to see the door. For the price this is a great product.

I have a detached garage that has WIFI connectivity. I can not see the garage door from the house so I always wondered if I had properly closed the door. After installing this controller, I can tell from my phone if the door is open or closed and I get an alert if my son comes over and opens the door. He also has the app on his phone so he can open and close the door. I have also added a WIFI enabled light switch to control the outside spotlight on the garage. Very satisifed

I bought this during Prime Days for my new house we would settle on a month later. Turns out this thing is not of any quality. The plug (mini micro) casing fell off and the plug for the garage opener pushed into the black box prior to making connection. Top that off with an hour of work and the connection signaling to open and close repeatedly, I was a little annoyed. My wife attempted one of the two apps and I took on the other ( both appear to be same thing) and neither of us could locate the opener and attempted what we could to figure out what to attempt to pair with. After a frustrating hour we gave up. Super frustrated I missed the return period on this one

Super simple install, and it works great. I use it with Google Assistant as well. Though I have to tell Google to "turn on the Garage door" to open the Garage door and "turn off the Garage door" to close it. Which is a bit weird, though its inexpensive.I could spend a lot more on product that Google recognizes as a Garage door opener that I would pay exponentially more for however this gets the job done.

Very happy with product. It was easy to setup and it works with Siri. Directions for voice were a little confusing but by playing around I finally got it. Still trying to get the Alexa voice to work. What is really cool is I can use my voice from anywhere that has wifi to open and close the door. I have a wize camera in my garage facing the door so I can tell if it is open or closed.

The unit sends TONS of notifications to your phone and they are more often than not incorrect. I stood there with my garage door completely closed and received 8 “garage door open” notifications. Also, when I hit the garage door button on the house, the app still shows closed or open. Whether the door is actually open or closed is a guessing game. On top of this unit not working as described, the second unit I ordered was delivered without a sensor. I will be biting the bullet and replacing my opener with one that has built in WiFi so I know if my door is open or closed at all times. Very disappointed with this product.

Vorweg - wenn es nur rot blinkt (und nicht blau) ist es defekt. Hab es auch erst nach 2 Stunden erfolglosem Testen geglaubt ;-)Wenn es funktioniert, ist die Einrichtung einfach und funktioniert auch, aber was mich stört:Über Google Home wird es als Steckdose erkannt und kann auch somit nur mit "Garage aus" oder "Garage an" bedient werden. Anscheinend ist es aber mit Siri oder Alexa ganz normal möglich mit "öffnen" und "schliessen".Der beigepackte Magnetkontakt, der signalisieren soll, ob die Garage geschlossen ist funktioniert auch, jedoch ist bei mir nur eine seitliche Verlegung möglich und somit sind die 5m zu kurz. Besser wäre es, wenn er signalisieren würde ob die Garage geöffnet ist und ich den Kontakt gleich beim Antrieb auf der Decke anbringen hätte können.Getestet mit TuyaSmart- und Smart Life App - sind beide identisch.Funktioniert nur im 2,4 Ghz Bereich und es sollte noch ein relativ gut WLAN Empfang vorliegen.Netzteil nicht im Lieferumfang.Falls wer benötigt - deutsche Übersetzung:1. Schliessen Sie das Gerät mit Ihrem USB-Adapter an - die rote LED leuchtet.2. Verwenden Sie einen kleinen Schrauben oder einen kleinen Nagel, um den Knopf im Gerät 5 Sekunden lang zu drücken, bis die blaue LED schnell blinkt (zweimal pro Sekunde).3. Starten Sie die App und tippen Sie auf das Symbol + oben rechts.4. Wählen sie "Sicherheit und Sensor" und wählen sie "Schloss (Wi-Fi)".5. Tippen Sie auf "Bestätige, dass die Anzeige schnell blinkt".6. Geben Sie das korrekte 2,4 Ghz Wifi Passwort ein. Tippen Sie anschließend auf bestätigen.7. Ziel war es mein Garagentor ins Heimnetz zu integrieren. Mein Hörmannantrieb hat nur eine geringe Funkreichweite und ich konnte mit der Fernbedienung das Tor erst öffnen, wenn ich schon vor dem Tor stand. Des Weiteren war mir wichtig, dass ich nicht noch eine weitere App benötige. Da ich diverse "alexa" fähige Schalter und Steckdosen in Betrieb habe, die ich alle über die efamily app bediene, war mir diese Integration auch wichtig - funktioniert bestens!Die Einbindung in "alexa" hat zwar funktioniert, aber das Tor öffnet oder schließt sich nicht. Auch eine Integration in BMW Connected funktioniert leider nicht.Jedoch kann ich mit dem Smartphone das Tor öffnen - auch schön wenn ich mal SimonsVoss Key für den Außenschalter nicht zur Hand habe!Ich probiere noch verschiedene Dinge aus um "alexa" doch noch zum Öffnen zu bringen.Wenn die "alexa" Steuerung funktioniert würde ich auch 5 Sterne vergeben - wer aber nur die Smartphone Funktion nutzen möchte, dem kann ich das Produkt empfehlen!

Installation der App super einfach.Montage auch kein sonderliches Problem.Funktion über App ist garantiert.Die Sprachsteuerung über Alexa beim Garagentorantrieb von Hörmann (Modell Supramatic E 3) ist möglich.Dabei ist aber unbeding zu beachten, dass der Tuya Smart-Skill nur über die Sprachbefehle EIN (nicht öffnen oder hoch), dann öffnet sich das Tor und AUS (nicht schliessen oder runter), dann schliesst das Tor, erfolgen kann. Ansonsten sagt Alexa: "Garagentor unterstützt das nicht." und mit den uns geläufigen Worten ist dann keine Sprachsteuerung gegeben.

Bei uns läuft alles über Alexa. Bekanntlich werden zumeißt Apps von Drittanbietern benötigt, damit man soetwas mit Alexa verwenden kann. Weil wir nicht zu viele unterschiedliche Apps verwenden wollen, habe ich genau diesen Garagentooröffner von verschiedenen Anbietern bezogen. Erst dieser hier hat mit der gewünschten Smart Life App funktioniert, die anderen 2 Geräte wurden nicht erkannt.Die Funktion selbst: Das Ding tut, was es soll und die Montage ging leicht von der Hand.

Je peux enfin contrôler ma porte de garage grâce à Google Home!L’installation est très simple! J’avais prévue une sorties dans ma boîte de dérivation avec une prise. J’ai juste eu à installer le tout puis à le configuré sur Google Home et ça marche très bien!Faites attention par contre à faire une phrase personnalisée pour l’ouverture sinon n’importe qui pourra ouvrir votre garage en disant « ouvre le garage ». Ça serait un peu dommage que des voleurs entrent comme ça!
