The band is wonderful as well as thick
The band is wonderful as well as thick, the bells seem excellent and the snaps are a good feature: it made it actually very easy to place on the back door take care of and also the capability to change the height was a terrific idea.We almost gave up since our family dog, Nuki made the living room carpet like his own toilet area, so my wife gave me two weeks to teach him to do his needs outside in our back yard or to give him to another family, but I couldn't imagine such a thing because he is so cute and pushi......I really do not understand who that came up with this idea initially, however all I recognize is that these are excellent!!!. It only took Nuki about 10-14 days figured points out and after that allow's me recognize every time he desires to go out.If my review is helpful to you, let other buyers know by clicking the "yes" button below indicating so. Perfect solution to real need
This item is just what I needed. I tried to make my own prototypes but none of them worked well. Bells were either not loud enough, or fell off or design had flaws in my DIY door alerts. (dog got his paw caught in one I tried to make. epic fail) It seems like a simple thing, but when I saw this item on Amazon, I decided to go the route of a purchase and glad I did. Doggie's Gotta Go...is well made and great design. Bells are loud with good tone. I'm actually using it as an alert to let my dog back inside. He's used to scratching on the door and that's got to stop. I have it hanging on the trim next to the back door. Still working on getting him to make it ring loud enough but I'm certain with time and training he'll catch on. I'm happy with this purchase

This really works!
Originally bought these for my fur niece last year. We have a set at our house and there is a set at my in law's house. They are placed at the front door and back door. These work very well they are loud enough to hear from another room. We just got a puppy that is 11 weeks old she was rescued from our local humane society. She has been in our home for 5 days and can use this bell system already. Every time we let her out we ring the bells and open the door. Today she rang the front door bells and I walked her out and she did her job. These bells are well made, adjustable and are pretty loud depending on how hard your dog hits them.

Great Bells!
I ordered the Doggie's Gotta Go Potty Bells to replace a set I purchased at Walmart more than 5 years ago. These bells are superior all around and are adjustable which I like. They are also loud, so be warned if you have a fearful dog. I really liked that the package also included training instructions. Great product for helping your dog communicate their need to go without scratching on the door or barking.

Completly House Trained In 4 Days!
This worked great for us. We adopted a 5 month old stray from the shelter. I realized she was having trouble communicating with people (probably due to her lack of being around them). In order to aid this smart pooch in communicating we hung the bells from the door. Next time we took her out we rang the bells. From that point on she rang the bells to alert us of her need to eliminate. She had an occasional accident still for the first 3 days but we've only had her for 2 weeks. After the 3rd day she no longer had any more accidents! The nylon part that holds the bells is strong which is great in case it gets chewed. I did not want the others which have thin ribbons holding the bells. She rings the bells softly but I can still hear them from other rooms in our 1 story home if the doors are open. This product is definitely worth it if you are having trouble with house training.

They worked one way or another
I got these for my Catahoula Black Lab mix because he would not bark or whine or do anything when he went to the door to alert me he needed out. I had high hopes that he would learn how to use them quickly, but instead he started barking at the door once we put these on. Though he was not using the bells, I was pleased that he was alerting me in anyway. The way my house is set up we have to keep a secondary door shut in the winter that we have to go through so we moved the bells to that door and he started using them. He likes to touch them with his nose and we can hear them almost everywhere in the house. He now uses a combination of bells and bark/whining to get our attention and we haven't had an accident in quite some time now. I like the design more than some of the other ones that I have seen. The strap does lay a little weird on the door knob, but it doesn't hinder the use of the door so it works fine. I think they are loud enough and the various lengths are nice for progression or different size dogs. One way or another these bells helped us get our pup to inform us he needs out and that has made life so much easier. I would recommend these to my friends and I would buy more of them.

Not long enough for small dogs
Just not long enough for our 13 pd. dog. When I snapped it together to make it as long as possible, and hung it on the handle of our slider, it was still 2 ft off the ground. This was just too short for our little dog to reach unless he stood up and jumped. I had to cut a hole in it, put a wire through the hole, and then wrap the wire around the handle.Think they should make it longer, or sell it in 2 sizes. It's well made though, and the bells make just enough noise, but not too much to be annoying.

Works
Bells are loud enough even if you are in an adajenct room. My dog is a puppy and it took him some time to get use to using the bells to go outside. We originally placed this on the door handle of a closet near the garage door and he would not ring the bell. We decided to place a nail in the wall next to the side garage door and this worked perfectly. We have 3 children who are constantly using the side garage door to go outside causing the bells to bang into the wall. Putting it on the wall next to the door did the trick. My children do not ring the bells leaving the house and the whippet puppy sees the bell and rings it when he needs to go out. Excellent product.

Brilliant and helped quickly toilet train border collie pup
Just follow the instructions on how to train your puppy to use this when they need to go outside to do their business, and it works a treat! This helped immensely as we don't have a doggy door.
