Great dog runners
These make very good dog runners, been using them for years. Just realized Amazon cheaper than buying at stores. The plastic coating is what makes them last so long.

Flexible, with a great length for multiple bikes
I bought a Kryptonite cable that is similar to this and really like the flexibility of the braided cable over the standard twisted cable, but it was too short for my purposes and Kryptonite didn't make a longer cable for a reasonable price (that I could find). I was a little cautious about this cable's flexibility based on a few of the reviews, but that was short lived once I received it. This cable is quite flexible (equal to the expensive Kryptonite) and very well protected with a vinyl coated cable and plastic coated crimps so that no metal is exposed to possibly damage an expensive item. I load two-three bikes on my hitch rack or in the bed of my truck and this cable easily interweaves through all of the frames and wheels for a positive securing with a quality padlock to a somewhat-secure, bolted-on connector on my truck. Like all good cables, this only provides deterrent-level security since it can be cut with the proper tools; however, that is all I need. If you want to secure your bike to a rack outside and go to work or school inside, this is not sufficient on it's own, but works well in conjunction with a u-lock (for the frame) and an immovable rack.

I have a fairly expensive bike...
One thing to know, this isn't for Sketchy areas and most certainly, not over night areas. It's for locking your bike up when you want to go to a store, or the bathroom... It's better than nothing ... that's for sure... For me, I don't think I could carry enough locks in my bag, to feel 100% comfortable... So I put my bike on my insurance policy. Peace of mind. Personally, I use mine when camping at the campgrounds in a state or federal park, I loop it around/underneath one of the tires... then snake it through the frame and lock up the seat as well. It's just peace of mind. 9 times out of ten no one is walking around with bolt cutters to take your bike in a campground. Pros, seems heavy duty, cables has a nice thick rubber so it won't scratch your bike or rust, loops are wide enough for the ends to pass through it. it's 15 feet... relatively cheap and easy to carry... long enough to lockup both tires, seat and whatever to a non removable object tree, etc...etc... with room to spare! Cons, not secure as a U-Lock, kinda heavy... Is it better than a U-Lock? Absolutely not! However, you really need to think about where you CAN use a U-Bolt type lock. If there are no bike racks a U-bolt is useless. You have to access your risks. How sketchy is the area you are locking your bike up... How long will you be locking your bike up. If you are "EVERYDAY" biker that has a routine, like a job ... Where everyday Mon-Fri, you always lock your bike up for 8 hours a day... Or go shopping for hours... or parking it overnight in a public garage ....Then YES! Get a U-BOLT Lock! As for me, I travel to different areas and don't have a routine ... nore do I leave my bike (unattended) for hours. So, I think this lock is good enough for me! ANY lock can be cut, It's just making a bike thief try a little harder..and let's face it... if a thief wants your bike he/she is going to get it! I hate to say it. If your bike is worth more than 2500 bucks, consider getting theft insurance. I lock mine up with an all weather A-bus 701B lock. Get a decent lock, the last thing you want is a lock that freezes up and you got to leave your bike to find a way to cut though your own lock! Buy lock lubricants and clean them often to keep them working good. Get a weather lock especially if your bike doesn't have fenders! Also, consider not getting a huge heavy lock so you can lock it up to an easy to cut cable. So, pretty much any lock will work... as a thief won't will go after the weakest link. Buying a 80 dollar lock for a cable lock isn't going to make it more secure.

Great for locking up a couple of kayaks
We bought these to lock up our kayaks in the backyard for a sense of security. We live in a safe neighborhood, but you never know these days. I added a Master Lock keyed lock to lock them up and we run the cable through both hand holes plus around the Kayaks and the tarp covering them. Should keep them dry and secure from just a random thief. The cable says it's saw proof and cutter proof, but I'm sure a good pair of bolt cutters would cut through it or the lock. You can never be 100%, but this is a good theft deterrent. We might use this cable to lock the kayaks to a roof rack when on vacation too! The plastic coating on the cable will help with scraping any car surface plus the cable itself is flexible like a thick rope so run through small gaps.

Great for my outdoor TV for piece of mind
I'm sure with the right tools that almost anything can be cut but I got a master lock with a sliding rubber panel that protects where the key goes from weather and I feel this is the best cable / lick combo for my outdoor TV. I usually spend countless time reading reviews and this had the best review for the thinner cables of all of the reviews that I read and it's weather resistant so I bought it. I didn't want it too long and anything shorter wouldn't have worked. You can loop one loop through the other and just have the single cable to make it longer. Works perfect for my needs

Okay for the deterrent factor
Nice long sturdy cable- mainly a deterrent- wonโt stop a prepared thief

Does the job
Bought this to secure my kayak at our community "rack". Bought the 15' so I could run it from the front handle, under the seat and around the post then securing with a Master Lock combo lock. I also have a 6' that I bought to secure my paddleboard by running through the handle and around the post. It's more of a deterrent than 100% security. Since everything is outdoors, I like that it is rust resistant and I like the flexibility of the "rope" so it's easy to use. Sometimes silly kids look to see if there's something "available" and "borrow" it without returning. So far, so good and a lot easier than loading up the paddleboard and kayak every day to go 1/4 mile.

Funcional
Funciona como cualquier cable de seguridad, es bastante largo y robusto, facil de manejar No hay nada que decir en su contra, solo revisa el largo que necesitas por que de lo contrario tendras un cable megagrande que tal vez no necesites.

Thick cable for a lock
I use this cable to lock up my kayak. It's very thick and feels substantial enough to deter most thieves.

This was exactly what I needed. Relieved when I found it, because I already had an external lock.
