I saw a similar one at one of my friends' and the sound quality and the aesthetic design really got me in. So I decided to get one and now I'm sharing my experience for the last 9 months having this Boat Stone 170 compact bluetooth speaker working almost half of the time continuosly everyday .1. The most vital part of the product is its design . Even though I've accidentally dropped it several times it is still bombarding my room with loud happy music.2. Sound quality is really mentionable. Indoor or Outdoor , even in windy conditions the boat stone 170 gives out excellent clarity and loudness and has got good bass levels also.3. Connectivity is cool , in fact I haven't ever had to search for it even once in my Bluetooth devices list . The very next moment I turn it on , my phone will connect.4. Battery capacity is GOOD. But could've made a bit better in my opinion. Takes almost an hour or more sometimes to charge fully. And once it is fully charged it can run for almost 2 days despite being in use throughout the night sometimesConclusion : Overall, from my experience it's a pretty decent product at a reasonably good price. Convenient to carry, quick connectivity, mentionable battery capacity and the trendy looks all add upto the value of this cool little guy.

The Product is good and quality is awesome. The sound is so good and it is also durable. You can play it for hours after just charging for one hour only. It is also travel friendly.

I bought this as a replacement to my 1 gen JBL Go. In totality this seems like a much better product right out of the box. It’s well built, looks cool, is water resistant and cheaper. The bass isn’t too much to take home but it does have an oomph to it, which the JBL didn’t have. It can be paired with another speaker of its kind for a stereo experience which I think is commendable for a ~1k speaker.However, it’s not all sunshine and rainbow. It comes with a ton of stupid quirks. For example, you have to long press the power button to power it on, a short press would play/pause the playback. I think power button should have been left to perform a single task while a pairing button could have been used for dual functionalities. I HATE the voice notifications - I wish I had known how much I’d hate it before I bought this. The worst is the battery low mode - it doesn’t switch off automatically when the playback is on pause and if the battery is low it’ll keep “speaking out” loud for battery low. Gets worse when you’re taking a nap and wake up to stupid voice notifications.And some features are just counterintuitive. You’d think while LED is blinking it means the speaker is paused while when it’s glowing it’s ON. Well, in this case it’s the opposite.All in all- it’s not a bad speaker but it comes with many quirks. For the most part - they are manageable. I am sure boat was trying to show it off by adding all the features but to me they turn out cheap and tasteless. I think they should really try being subtle with the design and execution and they will go long way.

Sound is good
