Asaad wahda by Elissa
After Bastanak and Tesada' Bemeen Elissa pursues in the same vein with her new Album Asaad wadha. Elissa never ceases to charm us with her romantic music. I particularly love Fi Ayounek (In your eyes), Moutafaala (optimistic) and above all I adore Saat (sometimes) and the wonderful poetry of its lyrics. This song just reminds me of Fi Shi Nkasar on Bastanak. Assad wadha is another piece of jewelery in Elissa's treasure, I do hope not the last. I just love her.

A beautiful album!
Elissa has come a long way since her first album 'Babby Doub' (I want to melt) released in 1999. This album As'ad Wahda' (As3AdWa7Da) may be difficult to follow. Beautiful songs like 'As3AdWa7Da' (The happiest one) and 'te3ebt mennak' (Tired (Fed up) of you) could be hard to match. Elissa sings these songs and all the others of course, very beautifully. Her heart and soul is in the music. The language takes on a new meaning as every word she sings becomes part of the music. The result of this is an album which is a symphony in which every word is an instrument and song a movement. Like every symphony it has it's favourite parts. The ones you remember the most and love the most. The 2 songs mentioned for example. This is extremely addictive music. Listen to it once or twice and you may find yourself listening to it forever! To listen to Elissa forever? Now, then I would be 'the happiest one'. 1000 bisous mon ange.
