Magical Girl Apocalypse Vol. 3

I am shocked at how much better this series gets from volume to volume.This volume slows down the action a great deal to give the characters some time to breathe and expand, and it also makes a point to reveal more about not only the character's histories, but what exactly has caused the Magical Girls to attack. So, what started as a goofy, violent story has actually turned into a pretty interesting and intense horror series. Now, don't get me wrong. Characters still die, and die horribly. The violence is still very pronounced, and the gore is plentiful. There is also plenty of other tasteless elements present, including some very graphic nudity. This is still Magical Girl Apocalypse. It is still splatter punk, but it's splatter punk at the top of its game.The art improves a bit as well. Anatomy is still a little... loose with some of the female characters, but each character is still distinct and expressive. The gore is also lovingly detailed, and the action moves at an easy to read and fast pace.Magical Girl Apocalypse is one of the best horror manga out there. Seriously, pick it up. If you are already reading it, then know that Magical Girl Apocalypse continues to improve in this volume.

Another great episode, unfortunately this one feels like a filler episode. Kind of explains some back story nobody really asked about, but cool to I.ow regardless

The magical girls are phenomenal and horrifying. The characters are very over-dramatized, but somehow still excellent.

Great story as always. They had a great plot twist of going back in time ten years which was great and the villain was very unexpected. Great buy!
