MDF® Acoustica Deluxe Lightweight Dual Head Stethoscope - Grey (MDF747XP-12)

This was my first stethoscope so at first I thought it was pretty decent and was very happy with my purchase (having used other presumably cheap ones all the way up to a Littmann whilst working as a first responder). THEN I got myself a Littmann Classic in the amazon Black Friday sale and have only been using that since and YIKES I used this MDF one the other day (coz it was closest to me lol) and I couldn’t believe how rubbish it is! But to be fair most cheaper stethos are pretty pants compared to the Mecca that is A Littmann stethoscope... the sound quality is quite muffled and Quiet and it’s the material is bit rigid making it a little awkward and fussy when dealing with patients. HOWEVER in my professional opinion it is still an average quality medical tool and a good choice for practicing your med skills or perhaps want a mediocre stethoscope for a personal first aid kit.Stars deducted for value, low sensitivity to sound and the stiff tubing.hope this helps

-ı would be happy with a moderate sound quality but I can’t even hear the heart let alone a murmur.-Yes, cord is short but more importantly the 10cm parts bilaterally twist and you feel like ear-pieces are moving out of their way.-Colour (rose gold) doesn’t look as elegant as expected.I lost a chocolate brown-copper Littmann and my grey one is almıst 15 years old now. So I wanted a cheaper yet nice looking alternative. But this is waste of money.Auscultated the same areas with my old Littmann and MDF one after the other.I am a surgeon, can’t imagine how unsatisfied medics would be.Expensive for the poor quality.Returning it back...

returned item and got a littmann as you get what you pay for. the wife says the littmann is alot better quality. this is ok if you just want a cheap one for home use or something but for everyday use in a hospital its no good.

Bought as a gift and husband likes it. Seems better made than the one he had to use while training

Worth the money, good price, you can hear lung and heart sounds good. I use it in a medical ward, I 'm a physiotherapist.It's not like the $100 stethoscopes, but does more or less the same job.

Genuinely works so well! Amazing for the money! Stephoscope is, hand on heart for me wonderful! Hear clear as bell blood pressure and bowel sounds, heart beats etc! Great product for a student midwife! I am over the moon!! Sphyg also great! Colour is so so pretty as well! Happy student :)

Brilliant to use and lightweight when around neck area

The stethoscope is good value for money. It is well made and works very well. I have bought about 3-4 of this stethoscope. Useful for doctors and nurses.
