A beginner could probably do these projects but advanced beginner for sure! It's a step by step program with the picture on a graph for you already if you want to transfer your picture that way or just trace.The rest is explained and shown step by step! Besides the awesome cover project of the colorful dog, there is also a galaxy whale, a betta fish in dark water, bees with flowers, silhouette animals, unicorn, an iridescent beetle, an otter, elephants, a puffin, a cat peeking up over something, and a pair of parakeets! All are so beautiful!I am so glad I bought this! It's easy to follow and has stunning results! Can't wait to dive in!

I started purchasing animal painting themed books, for improving my artwork in various online courses, other books with prompts, and for personal gifts. The drawings are accurate, and the style is loose. It's good for those who love color. Among projects are, bees, unicorns, puffins, elephants, and beetles. It's a fun, less structured method for any watercolor enthusiast who is seeking a painless way to make others and self happy.

Absolutely LOVE! I have several prints from Shaunna so I had this on pre-order and it did not disappoint. This is such a beautiful book not only with the illustrations but also in the descriptions and attention to detail. I do not consider myself an artist by any means but found the instructions very easy to follow and really enjoyed her encouragement on finding your own style and rules. There were various projects that were appealing to all skill levels. This would make a great gift for anyone (or just to yourself!)

Nice beginner book to see if you want to learn watercolor painting. Simple projects, bright color options and ideas. Fun to do.

Super excited about this book...can’t wait to get started! The detailed and clear instructions and the step by step photos give me confidence to learn this technique. I love this book! I have done several of the projects multiple times with different colors and kinds of paint/pencils. The projects have easy to follow directions and pictures

O livro é melhor do que eu esperava. Os exercícios são muito fáceis de seguir e a gente consegue aplicar a técnica em outros trabalhos com muita facilidade.

This book met and exceeded all my expectations. It is beautifully illustrated and has excellent step-by-step instructions for how to create various colourful watercolour images. If you are interested in watercolour painting animals i vibrant colour this is a great place to start.

Loving the dynamic colour choices and approach to painting animals. There's a mix of projects that are easy and more advanced.
