Borch map of Italy - I am impressed
We have been to Tuscany and Italy on organization-planned tours before, but this time we will be traveling "on our own" with a small group of friends. I had borrowed a Borch map of Italy from another friend (who used it in his travels) and was impressed with its detail and physical qualities, so in planning our self-constructed tour I ordered both a map of Italy and a map of Tuscany. I am very happy with them. The Borch maps are wonderful for taking on trips! Very durable! My only disappointment was that I was not able to purchase the most-recently-dated map of Italy through Amazon (who is the only apparent US distributor of Borch maps). But how much have the roads, railroads, and towns changed in the past decade? So, that's not important for my needs!

Borch the best
We have used Borch maps on four trips to Europe and even to the east coast of the U.S. They are by far the best. The test on the map is printed clearly with demarcations for important sights and landmarks. The maps are laminated which allows us to use dry erase markers to mark places that are of special interest to us (hotels, etc.) without permanently damaging the maps. We currently own over ten Borch maps, some country maps like this Italia map as well as numerous city maps like Vienna, Rome Paris and London to name a few.

The Best!
I bought several maps since I need to drive from Rome to a remote village in the mountains of Abruzzo. This map was the most comprehensive and is the only one I will use. It is large and it is laminated. On one side is the north and on the other is the south. And it's very easy on old eyes. I love it and recommend it highly

Great detail & uses the Italian language for road names
This is a great map if you plan to drive in Italy. Good detail, laminated, easy to follow. I've seen some maps that translate the Italian road/highway names, which wouldn't be much help if you're driving i Italy and need to know the Italian road names. Highly recommended.

Detailed and durable
This is the perfect size and durability for us to use to spend a month traveling from north to south throughout Italy. Detailed enough to help us discover when we are lost, too!

Good map for traveling in Italy
I will be traveling to Italy in the next year. While I will be on a tour, I like to know exactly where I am, and this map is just what I needed.

Borch laminated road map of Italy.
I found this map more detailed, road-wise, than any other I've seen. It shows some very small towns that I was looking for, which don't show up on most maps. It's printed on very durable paper with a high gloss coating, and I read in another review that it's possible to use dry erase markers on the surface. Great map for the money. Highly recommended, especially for anyone planning on driving in Italy.
