Excellent saddle rail water carrier.
This is my fifth seat-rail mounted bottle carrier, and for me, this is the best I've tried. It attached perfectly to my Specialized Roman Mimic saddle rails, and has minimal vibration and is light weight. The plastic cages hold up very well, having used this style many times on several bikes. I re-aligned the angle the bottle cages using the alternate mount holes so I could fit my tool bag underneath it. Keep in mind that bottles in saddle mounted cages are prone to bouncing out over rough terrain. I solve this problem by cinching the bottle to the cage with a short velcro strap. OK, with these velcro straps, I have to stop to swap out bottles from the main triangle, but a minor inconvenience to have extra ice-cold water on hot summer rides. Typical high quality design and construction from Profile. Addendum: Regarding bottle ejection, I still managed to eject a Camelbak Podium bottle with the velcro. I've settled on a more robust approach: Loop a short cord through bottle cage frame, and attach silicone elastic cords through the nylon cord, up and around the top of the bottle. I used Garmin aero seat-post size silicone bands, but others may work. Regarding bottles, some brands of bottles don't have indentations that match up well with lots of cage designs. Even XLab with their Gorilla cages ($75 each) and XT cages ($79 each) does not recommend Camelbak Podium or Polar Insulated bottles in rear carriers because of poor fit.

Worked great holding bottles!
I used for IM Oregon 70.3 which has multiple rough railroad crossings. My bottles never budged! Not sure what other reviewers are complaining about...maybe they didn't install properly? I even looped a small bag to hold spare tube thru it.

Poor design/Stay away
Before buying this, I read a lot of reviews about water bottles falling out of the cages. I largely ignored them because I had a good experience with another Profile Design cage system. For years I had the model that fastens to your seat post and never had in issue. However, this model is deeply flawed. The number of times that a bottle has fallen out because you hit a bump are too numerous to count. I raced in an Ironman 70.3 last June and lost a brand new water bottle within the first few miles of the bike leg. It was completely full and just flew out without even going over any type of bump. Bu today was the last straw. I cannot remain silent any longer. I was out on a training ride on a flat part of the route I was taking. Again, a full bottle not only fell out but the cages it was in just broke off. And this was on a FLAT road! I wasn't flying down a hill or hitting any bumps. This happened 9 months after I bought this but it really has been happening since I first got it. And now I can't return it because I'm way past the return date. I would have rated it 1/2 star if it was possible. DON'T BUY THIS. TOTAL JUNK.

For the most compact fit
I ride a tri bike and this cage sits right up against my seat, making it much easier to grab the water bottles when in the aero position. There is even enough space to fit a spare tube under the seat between the seat post and the holder itself.

Waste of money - Goodbye bottles
The best thing I can say is it does appear to be quality materials. The positions you can mount it in are extremely limited, there's little to no space for additional equipment like an extra spare or CO2 cartridge, and most importantly, the included cages WILL launch bottles on any sort of rough terrain. I've lost bottles and a small container from this setup in 4 races and a training ride. For the price, I definitely can't recommend it-- Don't let the brand fool you: This is a poor solution and there are far better ones available, some at nearly half the price. For the cost of the bottles I've lost, I should've spent more on the xlab.

I would still recommend this to anybody
Started using this with 2 bottles and after a while (about 2 months) if I hit a bump in the road one of the bottles would fall out. Still can't find a way to fix this. I would still recommend this to anybody.

Works flawlessly
Maybe I've just had bad luck previously, but my prior seat-mounted bottle cages have not mounted easily/securely, and they have either held the bottles so tightly it was hard to get a drink, or so loosely the bottles would fly out on bumps or tracks. This one works flawlessly.

Well made and new improved saddle rail attachment.
Redesigned cage, slightly different to the older model (I have both). 2 bottle holders and bolt-holes to add another cage, or swap to a single cage. You could probably add a CO2 pump bracket to the spare space, etc. Put some locking paste on the bolts before fixing to make sure it stays on the bike. Comes with some velcro straps that I couldn't figure out what to do with. Possibly to tighten the cage to prevent bottle slipping, but no instructions and they didn't seem to fix to the cage in any way. Unnecessary as far as I could see. These cages can eject bottles, but this can be fixed with putting a band around the bottle, possibly figuring out how to attach the velcro things, or just occasionally checking/pushing the bottle down.
