I love the excellent quality of the Canon Inkjet ink cartridges. I've been using them for years with my Canon printer and have never been disappointed. The convenience of ordering through Amazon is an added benefit and convenience.

These Canon cartridges are getting harder to find in brick and mortar stores, so ordering online has now become the norm. I tried third party non-Canon branded cartridges and have had various problems with them.

Works as expected

Yes, ink cartridges are ridiculously expensive, and yes, you can get cheaper, 3rd party cartridges. However I've had many years of trouble free printing with original cartridges in my previous printer (MP600), and the only reason I'm replacing it is because with more computers around the house now, I needed a network printer, and I replaced it with the MG8220. With an earlier printer I had some issues with 3rd part ink (some ran out very quickly, one leaked, and I had lots of trouble with clogged print head).For some reason, the gray ink seeks to be used up faster than the other colors. I print a mixture of color as well as black text, and the occasional photo. I'd say the majority of my printout is black text. Why that would use up gray at a high rate is a mystery to me. Fortunately, gray is not one of the colors in the combo packs (which is less expensive than buying individual cartridges).While I'm unhappy with the price, I'm forced to conclude that I don't have an alternative, and Canon cartridges do perform very well.

Ink perfect for canon printer

I would have a photo printer that requires Gray ink. It is always sold individually, never in a value pack. It is not always easy to find. Amazon has been my reliable source for this ink in availability and price. The convenience of online buying where you know the product is available sure beats a sold out color in the store.

Not easy to get in stores, I was happy to find it online, cheap, and shipped quickly.
