A Simple, Affordable Night Cream That Actually Works
Let me just say this upfront: you do not need a $98 cream in a fancy jar to have soft, glowing, younger-looking skin. I’m 54, my skin is dry, and I get asked if I’m in my 30s on the regular. This CeraVe Night Cream is a big part of why. I know it’s technically marketed for nighttime, but my skin is Sahara-level dry, so I use it during the day too. I layer a tiny bit of castor oil underneath (an aesthetician recommended that combo to me), and my face stays moisturized, calm, and honestly as soft as a baby’s bottom. What I Love: • Deep hydration without feeling greasy It’s thick in the jar but melts right into your skin — perfect under makeup or on its own. • Gentle, no-fragrance formula My skin is sensitive, and this doesn’t irritate or break me out at all. • Peptides + ceramides + hyaluronic acid Basically all the things every expensive brand brags about… except this one is actually affordable. • Skin looks smoother and more rested After a few weeks, my fine lines looked less noticeable and my skin barrier felt stronger. A quick heads up: It doesn’t come with an inner seal inside the jar — that’s normal for this product, but good to mention for anyone wondering. Bottom Line: This is one of the best moisturizers you can buy at this price point. If you have dry or mature skin, skip the pricey stuff and try this first. Your skin (and your wallet) will thank you.

CeraVe, You Get Me
My mature, sensitive skin and dry eyes don't play well with most beauty products and cosmetics. CeraVe has been a godsend for me. I'm reviewing the night cream here but also mentioning some other CeraVe products to share with other folks who have sensitive skin like mine. When my go-to extra moisturizing skin cleansing balm was recently discontinued I was bereft, thinking I was not going to find a suitable replacement. However, I now use CeraVe foaming oil face cleanser and this CeraVe moisturizing night cream at night, with satisfactory results. The oil face cleanser removes makeup and leaves my face clean but calm and soft. [Not that tight, stripped-of-oils feeling that I get from so many other products, which unfortunately includes Cerave skin cleansing balm. The cleansing balm took makeup off and didn't irritate my skin but gradually stripped it of natural oil]. Then I apply the CeraVe moisturizing night cream which soothes, moisturizes and helps retain moisture throughout the night and into the next day. I can't emphasize how much of a breakthrough this is for me. Even though the extra moisturizing cleansing balm I previously used at night didn't strip my skin, I really haven't had a suitable product for a long time that could retain moisture overnight without irritating my skin and eyes. With the CeraVe night cream, my skin stays moisturized until I am ready to clean and prepare my skin for makeup the next day. If I don't do that until noon it doesn't matter because my skin stays moisturized until then. Since starting the use of the CeraVe cleansing oil and CeraVe night cream, the appearance of my skin has improved. I have my naturally rosy cheeks and soft, clear skin without either the redness or dullness that have resulted when I used some other facial products. I round out my skin care routine in the morning, splashing my face with warm water and very gently wiping with soft washcloth soaked in warm water, then applying a skin barrier repair lotion to my face and under eyes before applying a popular tinted CC cream. [I once used CeraVe's face serum at night with amazing results. My skin was soft and it diminished the look of wrinkles. But my skin became sensitized to it and I can no longer use it. I do highly recommend it for people who do not have skin as ultra sensitive as mine.] CeraVe also has a Moisturizing Cream for Face and Body that I use on my neck, upper chest and hands. That, too, has been a game changer for me. It's the best product I have found for keeping crepey appearance at bay on my neck and it lasts beyond 24 hours. It also keeps my dry, eczema-prone hands calm and moisturized. I generally just have to use it once a day. [My hands really are sensitive. I use household gloves religiously and use CeraVe's non-foaming Hydrating Facial Cleanser as a hand soap.] The moisturized feeling from the CeraVe cream doesn't disappear when I wash my hands. The cream seems to actually treat my hands, not just attempt to hold in moisture.

Really Good Night Cream
Great night cream for the money. It doesn’t clog your pores and doesn’t feel sticky. Leaves your face feeling nice and moist.

Comprehensive skincare product for a Decent Price
This is a great night cream. It has great ingredients for skin barrier such as ceramides and cholesterol plus peptides and niacimide. I am a bit of a skin care junkie but this cream is great especially for the price point. It feels comfortable on your skin and I purchase it for my brother and husband because it's pretty comprehensive and does not require so many different bottles of product. I give it a four , only because I would like to be able to purchase a larger container.

CeraVe Night Cream Keeps My Skin Hydrated and is CPAP-Friendly. I have a tip for CPAP users.
I really like this CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream. I’ve been using it every night for months, and it has become an essential part of my bedtime routine. The texture is rich but not heavy, and it absorbs quickly without leaving my skin greasy or sticky. My skin wakes up soft, hydrated, and refreshed every morning. I also use a CPAP mask for sleep apnea, and this cream doesn’t interfere with the seal at all, which is a huge relief. Many creams make my mask leak, but this one works perfectly for me. Pro Tips For general use: Apply a small amount and gently massage it in circular motions, especially around the cheeks and under the eyes. Letting it sit overnight allows the skin to fully absorb the hydration and renewing benefits while you sleep. For CPAP users: Apply the cream sparingly around the areas that touch your mask, especially the nose bridge and cheeks, and wait a few minutes for it to fully absorb before putting on your mask. This keeps your skin hydrated without compromising the mask seal. Why I Like It * Smooth, rich texture that absorbs quickly * Hydrating and soothing without feeling greasy * Works well with CPAP mask—no leaks * Affordable compared to other night creams * Perfect for daily nightly creams Cons * If your goal is **deep wrinkle reduction or eliminating dark circles**, this cream may not meet expectations. * Some may prefer a heavier or more luxurious texture if their skin is extremely dry. Overall This night cream isn’t just functional—it’s comforting, effective, and fits perfectly into my routine. It keeps my skin soft and hydrated, works with my CPAP mask, and helps me wake up feeling refreshed. While it’s not a miracle for deep wrinkles, for my everyday night care needs, CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream works beautifully and won’t break the bank.

Deeply Hydrating, Sensitive-Skin Friendly, and Incredible for Changing Skin
I’ve been genuinely impressed with this night cream. I’ll admit — I used to believe that higher price automatically meant better results. After seeing the reviews, I decided to give this a try, and I’m so glad I did. I’m in my mid-40s, and my skin has become increasingly sensitive over the past few years. I’ve simplified my routine significantly and am very mindful about what I add in. This has been a beautiful addition. It’s thick and deeply hydrating, but it doesn’t feel heavy, greasy, or suffocating on the skin. I layer it over a simple serum or face oil at night, and it seals everything in without leaving a sticky or overly shiny residue. It absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling soft, calm, and balanced by morning. I’ve also noticed that during perimenopause, my skin has shifted — more dryness, more reactivity — and this has helped support that change without irritation. It’s gentle, effective, and extremely well-priced for the performance. I truly recommend this, especially for anyone navigating midlife skin changes or looking for a reliable, no-frills night cream that delivers hydration without heaviness.

Rich night cream that helped with my dry skin
I have dry and somewhat sensitive skin, so I’m usually careful when trying new creams. I decided to try the CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream because I’ve had good experiences with CeraVe products before. The texture is rich and creamy, but it spreads easily on the skin. One of the things that caught my attention is that it contains peptides and ceramides, and I was looking for something that could help a bit with fine lines. After using it, my skin tends to feel softer and less dry, especially in the areas where I usually get the most dryness. The cream is a little thick, but a small amount goes a long way.

An Affordable Night Cream That Actually Holds Its Own on Mature, Dry Skin
I’m 52 with post-menopausal, mature dry skin, and I don’t keep products around that don’t genuinely perform. I use everything from high-end Korean and medical-grade skincare to very simple drugstore staples — and this night cream has earned its place. The texture is richer than it looks but never heavy or greasy. It spreads easily, sinks in well, and immediately makes my skin feel comfortable and supported rather than coated. By morning, my skin looks smoother, calmer, and more rested, with noticeably less dryness and that tight, crepey feeling that can show up overnight with mature skin. What stands out most is how well this works as a recovery cream. When my skin is feeling overworked from actives, dehydrated, or just off, this consistently helps bring it back into balance. It layers beautifully over serums without pilling, seals everything in, and doesn’t irritate — even on nights when my skin is more sensitive than usual. Despite the affordable price, this doesn’t feel basic or flimsy. The hydration lasts, my skin barrier feels stronger over time, and I wake up with skin that looks healthier, not just temporarily moisturized. It’s fragrance-free, reliable, and quietly effective — exactly what a night cream should be. This may not be flashy or trendy, but if you have dry, mature, or easily dehydrated skin and want something that simply works night after night, this is a very smart choice. It’s proof that good skincare doesn’t always have to be expensive to be genuinely effective.

best facial cream ever
This is better than La Mer. I've tried all the fancy brands and products. This CeraVe cream works so perfectly for my combination skin, living in a desert environment. It keeps skin hydrated throughout the night. I wake up every morning with softer skin. It works well with retinol (me using Differin) and sunscreen products. just ordered 6 tubes of it for this year.

Works and reasonably priced!
This is my second purchase. It does what it needs to do. It moisturisers my aging skin. Used at night after showering and I don’t need to use too much, yet it does the job. While not putting a hole in your pocket. Even living in a tropical climate and not using AC, it is not greasy.
