Malco Modes Little Betty Petticoat, Style 178 for Halloween Costume, Vintage Style, Party wear and Festive Look Crinoline

This is a nice crinoline. Normally I would wear a size small, but since the product name stipulates this is considered kids length, I made sure to read the measurements in the detailed product description very carefully. For reference, I'm 5'4'' and about a 26'' waist, 114ish pounds. The small stretches up to 26 inches, but I wanted to play it safe -- plus I needed a bit more length, so I opted for the medium. It fit perfectly, and the length was exactly what I needed.The fabric is good quality for the price. I was a little worried at first, thinking it might be itchy or scratchy. It wasn't in the least, so I was very pleased with that. It also provided just the right amount of "poof" I needed. It didn't seem like it would at first glance, but once I got it on under my skirt, it was perfect. (Note: If you're looking for A LOT of added volume, this might not be the crinoline for you. I needed a moderate amount and it was perfect.)As far as packaging goes, it came rolled up in a protective plastic cover, so it was a bit wrinkled/scrunched up -- but that's to be expected with this sort of material. All I had to do was hang it up for a few hours and the scrunchy-ness went away.All in all, this was a great value. I would definitely buy again.

You can't go wrong with Malco Modes petticoats! This is my second one. I'm 110 pounds at 5'2" and this fits me perfectly. It's just what I needed! It's slightly stiffer than other petticoats made of even softer material however it really doesn't bother me. I wear a tiny slip beneath and it's fine. Thank you so much! Oh and you should know that it's made in the USA, not China.

It's not a true petticoat. There's only two layers. You have to straighten all the edges by hand. Then when you finally put it on under your daughter's poodle skirt it's too short, lumpy and doesn't sit properly! I can also see why people would buy a slip to put under this. It could easily be scratchy to some. I ordered different petticoats immediately and returned these. The only reason I gave it two starts is because it fit fine in the waist.

I ordered the medium size and it was perfect. I'm 5'3 and 112LBs and it lands right before my knees, however I did wear it higher on my waist line as I like to wear most things. It looks just like the picture and I love the volume it gives. Granted that the dress I wanted to wear with it didn't work out so well (dress was not made for a petticoat to be worn under it) it is a beautiful petticoat anyways and I can't to buy a skirt to show it off!

This was a great petticoat, but I ended up sending it back because it wasn't the length I was looking for. That was my fault for not reading the description. I did subtract one star because it was a touch itchy when I was trying it on.

What a great price for this product! It arrived quickly and the medium fits my size 12/14 daughter perfectly. Because it's crinoline, it is going to be itchy for those sensitive kids, so I just bought a slip to go underneath it.
