I bought this hoping to get some phototherapy benefit, to generate antimicrobial peptides (AMP's) during the foggy winter months. Sadly there is hardly any UV output from this. I have a camera modified to do UV photography, so I put some printer paper out in the sunlight and took some UV photos of it, bracketing the exposure to get unsaturated results. I did the same at night with the Rayminder light illuminating the paper at six inches- and had to go to 30x longer exposure to get the same pixel intensities.Even at point-blank 6" range, this lamp is 30x fainter than solar UV, Useless. I'm returning the lamp.

Great to find a product to use at home, that is affordable. I live over an hour away from any service that provides light treatment for my psoriasis.

Seller says supposed to last 200 hours. Did not last 60. Don't know whether it's the bulb or the ballast. Unfortunately, next to no competing products on Amazon.

Got the light just fine. Didn't get the mounting screws. Also no color changing beads. We guess they were out.

I have not used it yet however I feel that it is over priced,and it does not have a table top stand only holes in the plastic frame.And I don't like the idea of having to hold it 6 to 12 inches fromThe area I need to use it for. Also it was a day late getting here.

My sister loves this, did not get much else out of her but it is for health reasons and she says it is the best!

My husband and I like the lamp and the lamp is a convenient way to insure getting natural vitamin D indoors!
