I have searched for over a year for a sweater/ hoodie...etc. for my Gracie Rose ( a gorgeous 16lb. Black & Tan short hair, "angel from heaven", 2yr. old Dachshund). She is long, muscular, short little legged with a very broad chest and lean body. Well... as many dachshund owners will agree...it's quite difficult to find clothes to fit their dog's body type properly. All the other clothes I have tried; either the sleeves are too long, body too short or the chest and neck too tight and body too big! Since Gracie Rose has short hair, she is quite sensitive to the cold. I feel so sorry for her when she comes in from going potty and her beautiful long ears are FREEZING! Well...AT LAST!- we found the -PERFECT- solution...This hoodie! I ordered this hoodie in size M from Amazon. It arrived within 2 days (with Prime). She was so excited (she just knows anytime a brown box comes from UPS or Fedex it's for her!) I took this hoodie out of the box, felt the material, and was very impressed with the quality and the inside is Sooo Soft! It slipped on her effortlessly (like fine couture!) The fit is as though it's made custom for Gracie! It's long enough for a dachshund! Comes right to the base of her tail! No more cold "Doxie" rump! We are so trilled with this hoodie! We put it on her right away and I just shouted out for joy and clapped my hands. Gracie jumped on her back feet and hopped like a little bunny! I think she thinks of sweats & coats as wearable blankets! My baby " Doxie" really appreciates everything I get her, even all the sweaters she's had that fit ok, but don't cover her little rump. She likes to be warm. Gracie Rose doesn't like to take this one off... she will stand on her back legs, "begg" & bark, while staring at this hoodie. Once it's on she's ready to go out and do her business (so adorable!) Now she is a warm and toasty like "hot dogs" should be! ;-) I highly recommend this hoodie and purchasing from amazon (Prime is also a really great deal- especially if you do a lot of shopping online. I have received items as fast as 1 day!) I really hope this is helpful to people. As a dachshund mommy I have searched the clothes and read review after review in hopes to find someone saying like: "this fits dachshunds well". I just went by measurements & took a little chance on this one and it turned out fabulous! I have already ordered another Zack & Zoe hoodie! -UPDATE- WASHES MARVELOUSLY! If you don't want it to shrink too much...I wouldn't dry it on a real high heat. We washed in cold water and dried on high heat and it did great, but the hoodie wasn't snug at all on my dog before, so figured it was safe in dryer.

Update... we returned the green large and ordered the XL in orange. While it does fit perfectly around his body, it’s a bit long. I have to roll it up when he goes outside otherwise he pees on the bottom front of it. We will keep this one since I spruced it up a bit with a design. But I’m hoping I can somehow sew up the front bottom a bit. So... I do like this sweatshirt BUT the sizing seems off. Bought this for my boxer/staffy. His weight is 54 pounds, his chest is 28, his neck is 17 and his back length is 19. Now I know I ordered the large and these are pretty much the identical measurements. But when measuring the sweater itself I found that the measurement descriptions for the back mean from the hood to the end of the sweatshirt. Not the neck to the end of the sweatshirt. It also seems to be very snug around the neck and chest. I see in the other pictures where it was formfitting on other dogs and they were still able to put the hood up. I am not able to put the hood up on him. Even though that hood is probably just for looks and I would not put the hood on him anyway… It’s just more of an indicator that it’s a little too small. I would order the extra large but I’m afraid that it would be way too big as the measurements are a 4 inch difference from the large. He doesn’t seem to act restricted while wearing it… But I would prefer it to be just a little lose. He we will keep it and hope that it stretches but when washing it it will not make its way to the dryer. The material is good it seems soft and the color is true to its picture and it’s a pretty cute style.

I have a 55 lb boxer girl. She fits perfectly into a size xl. If her chest were any bigger, she'd probably have to size up, but it is plenty long and just slightly baggy around the tummy. She looks ADORABLE in her little hoodie and seems to be pretty comfortable in it. I like the color, and the quality seems to be pretty good too. Very soft inside. Pockets aren't really useable- everything falls out. It is pretty long, so it works good for a girl dog, but for a boy dog you'd have to roll it up for him to urinate. I actually really like that it is long enough to almost reach her little nub tail. The hood is too small for her big 'ol boxer head. Overall, worth the price, could be better with a couple of adjustments. I will probably buy another when it gets colder out. :) P.S. I've found the easiest way to put this on my dog is to have her stand on the floor and put her front paws over one of my legs. Then I put her paws in first and just a little of her leg, then slide her head through. If shes pulling her paws out, I do the head first. Update: my dog loves her hoodie so much, she jams her head through the hole on her own- I just help her with the legs. My boxer is no longer a little girl, and she weighs about 85lbs and wears an xxl. It was still a tiny bit big around her narrow boxer waist. These hoodies have lasted through several winters, and the price is fantastic!

I purchased 3 of these hoodie's. An XL for my 50-60lb female German Shepard and an XXL for my two male Boxers weighing 70-90lbs. The XL fits my GS really well throughout the body, its well fitted and it doesn't hinder her mobility at all. However it is a little long. Her length from the base of her neck to the base of her tail is about 25 inches and this hoodie is about two inches longer. The XXL also have a fairly good fit on my male boxers with the exception of the length. They have fairly different builds so I was unsure if the hoodies would work for them both. One is average height and husky while the other is tall and lean with a broad chest. Luckily the hoodie fits them both but it is a little snug in the chest area for my boxer with the broad chest. But again it doesn't really hinder his mobility. The length of the hoodies is to long and they aren't cut properly for a male dog. They are about 4 inches to long and too lose around their privates. If I wear to leave them as is, the boys would pee all over the hoodies. Eventually I am going to sew them shorter and tighter around the lower back but for the time being I just gathered the excess material and secured it with zip ties. Overall a nice dog hoodie, but adjustments need to be made to the length and they need to be cut properly for male dogs. ***Update*** So my dogs have been wearing these for just over a week and I am not as happy with them as I was when I first purchased them. The material isn't very thick or durable. All three of them have been torn and the seams are coming undone around the hood. I expect clothing for my dogs to be torn since they like to run around and can sometimes play rough but not in a week. I have put regular t-shirts on them that haven't torn as quickly as these hoodies.

I love this little red hoodie on my Cocker Spaniel. See the pictures I posted. He looks great and it really keeps him warm in the winter. It's easy to put on and take off. I only take it off to wash as I found that I can just roll it up to his shoulders when I take him out for potty breaks. Medium weight sweatshirt material. Color is vibrant so careful not to wash with light colored fabrics unless you're trying to make pink stuff. Decent stitching but not heavy duty by any means. Feels just like children's clothes. I bought a Large. It does shrink a little in length. But that is a good thing for me. This hoodie fit perfectly on his broad shoulders but was a little long at first as it went past his docked tail. I'm going to assume that when the other reviewers said these hoodies run small, they meant the width and not length. My Cocker is 25lbs and 16-17 inches from base of nect (neck and shoulder) to his rump (not including tail). So he's between a Med and Large in most dog clothes. Still a great buy at around $10 with fast and reliable Amazon Prime shipping. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. In fact I've gone ahead and ordered the same hoodie in bluebird and parrot green already. Can't wait to receive them!

We bought this hoodie for our puggle and he wore it all the time. It was nice quality and kept him warm, which is exactly what we wanted. The only downside was the hood—it never fit quite right and didn’t sit well on him. Overall, still a good hoodie if you’re looking for something soft and cozy for your dog, just don’t expect the hood to be super functional.

Love Zach and Zoey line. Miss P typically wears a medium, but she gained a little weight during covid binge watching Orange is the New Black, Killing Eve, basically chick flicks, etc and overdid the snacking.... so I had to bump her up to a large. She can still squeeze into her medium size but I thought we might try an "I've been binge eating during covid" size which for her is a size large. Miss P weighs about 35 pounds and was about 1 or 2 inches under the large size in the chest, it's a little long on her which I figured it would be because we measured. I just pull up the back if it slips to far down. She has started a diet and hopefully she will be back in her svelt medium in no time. The pink skull and crossbones are her favorite outfit by Zach and Zoey. This line always washes up great. Very happy with it. I just need to find a matching outfit for me. Zach and Zoey, we want more bling and graphics!!! This is the best brand that works for her, it's well made, soft and washes up great as well. It keeps her warm too. Highly recommend. Really happy they have hoodies for larger dogs as well, as dogs with shorter coats do get cold depending on the dog.

fits my 10 lbs dachshund perfectly... my other dachshund is about 15-17 lbs and i had to the medium for her.... its a little loose on her.... but still looks cute! I ultimately need a size in between lol but its a great product! much better than the crap you find at Petsmart

Por el precio que pague pensé que seria una prenda con tela delgada, pero no fue así, tampoco es una prenda de tela gruesa pero considero que tiene lo necesario para esos días de mucho frió para los canes, en mi caso la compre para un coker spaniel hembra y le quedo un poco larga pero nada grave como para devolverla, siento que si hubiese optado por la de 16 pulgadas, esta hubiese quedado corta. En cuanto al gorro es mas estético que nada, no es para que lo traiga puesto ya que le queda muy apretado en su cabeza. En cuanto al envió, llego con dos días de anticipación por medio de Amazon MX Logistics por medio de MEXBUY ya que fue un pedido de importación. Venia en una bolsa de plástico, sujetada por un gancho dentro de un sobre, así que considero que la protección del producto fue más que suficiente para su traslado.

We have decided that Teal is our dogs colour so we have tried to match her leash, collar and other accessories. I love the colour. Its perfect. Has just enough stretch to get the front legs through. We put our pups harness over as the hole on the back for leash wasn’t big enough for our clip on leash to go through. That was the only downside to this hoodie.

Medium fit my Boston perfectly, but he's a tank (24lbs @ 9 months) so if he gains one more pound i may need to go up to a large. The hood is a little small, but otherwise this sweater is so awesome, and you cant beat the price. Its perfect for early spring or fall when it's too cool to go out naked, but not cold enough for a full jacket/knit sweater. Also got it in grey and would totally buy again.
