These does are amazing! I love them and love wearing them. They look great, they are heavy and we know that doc Martin's last forever! The only complaint is that they run big, I should've sized down 1/2 a size! I'll just wear thicker socks with them because I love them so much! I'm afraid my daughter is going to steal them. Hàha

This is such a cute shoe! The ribbon is a feminine touch but the regular laces give more support. The shoe slips a lot. I didn't give 5 Stars because it does slip and they are very heavy. I am a 7.5 and ordered a 7. I am glad I did as they are tight around the toes. I put heel guards in them and am wearing socks and the fit fine. If I had ordered a 6 , with my bunion they would have really hurt! The quality is what you expect when you purchase an expensive shoe. I am 70 years old and still rock my Levi's and Docs!

I bought these because I wanted a dressier cute baby platform to wear to work (hospitality, so I’m on my feet 7+ hours not counting commute) instead of my beat up Danskos. I sized up a little in anticipation for wearing thicker winter socks with them, plus my last docs were a little too tight and hurt to break in. Once these broke in, they ran a little too big, and wearing them with no show socks (that, as they do, disappeared into my shoe) and cut the backs of my ankles up! I got some slightly frilly ankle socks to protect and I’ve had no problems since! They’re heavy and durable, easy to polish, and came with fabric and satin shoelaces. I get loads of compliments on them from all walks of life and will be wearing them at work later!

They're cute but they fit big my daughter can't wear them

I’ll start by saying that these are real, so you’re getting them at a discounted price and completely brand new. I will say: size down. I am a 6.5/7W (USA) and I saw many reviews saying to size down, so I ordered a 6. I can confidently say that you MUST size at least one down. There are no half sizes, so .5 under should be fine; this is because although your actual size might fit you fine, these shoes will expand slightly the more you wear them, so they will eventually be big on you. I did not try them on initially, I actually took a hair dryer straight to them, bent the ankle part, and stuffed the shoes with thick Christmas socks to start breaking them in. 99% of the time you will need to wear these often before they get comfortable, so please break them in before judging them.As for the shoe itself, girl I’m in LOVE. They fit me quite well and it’s giving All Too Well 10 Min Ver. sad girl autumn aesthetic. Wear them with “thick” socks or 2 layers if they slip a little. I found that the first sock is to fit into the shoe and the second are the white ruffle socks just for looks. Replace the ribbon with the laces if you want more security. The quality is amazing and they are comfortable to me, just a bit heavy as with most platform shoes.
