Back to the 70's
Built this kit just like the picture ( Yellow w/Black Stripes ), and was not to difficult to build. I have built many and this one I have in several varying colors. ( 1 ) silver, ( 1 ) white, ( 1 ) red, and two in YELLOW. The car came from Best Buy in good packing to protect it in shipment.

Model kit
Wanted to try a Buick for the first time and so far it's a great kit but it does have complicated steps that could be easier. The paint job was tricky. To do the hood graphics, you need to paint the center area semi gloss black and add decals on after to make it look like a hood stripe. I wish that black stripe on the hood was a decal itself. It would have made it allot easier to paint. I m almost finished with the whole kit and its turning out pretty good. I went with Tamiya yellow TS-16 with black stripes for the body color and the stage 1 for the performance type(you can choose between stage 1 or stage 2 performance packages) This does not mean it has different engine parts. As always 70's model car bodies are pretty hard to paint trim so get a thin detailing brush and some silver paint in a bottle. The parts fit OK except the hood doesn't stay on very well. It seems to be one of those hoods that you leave on or leave off. It cant really stay open without falling off. Also the side stripes were hard to put on straight because of the door handles. A great muscle car kit by Revell Monogram but painting and decals are pretty complicated.

Not a Revell Germany kit as advertised
This is not a Revell Germany kit as the product description says. I should have known better and looked up the part number. It's a old Monogram kit. I don't expect the quality to be the same as a Revell Germany kit, so we'll see.
