I like these. They allow you to apply suncream without the clingy greasy feeling on your hands afterwards. I thought it went on to thinly at first but nope - it worked well. Factor 50 on pale skin and no burns. I love that you can use your preferred choice of cream in this and it’s easy for children to apply so can pop in school bags for top ups. I wish they had a pocket sized one or a flatter rectangular version which would be great for a smaller hand bag or lanyard.

Really easy to apply suncream and get good coverage- however when the children are hot and sweaty etc and you reapply I do notice that the sponge heads get a bit smelly and it’s hard to clean them. I tried to clean with water and the sponge then detached.

I bought these in July 2023, fabulous on the go mess free sunscreen top up, I wash it up with antibac washing up liquid or soap and let it fully dry before each refill.They have both seen us through 3 summers faultlessly, the sponge applicator came off one of them last week while on holiday so I’ve just ordered a pair of replacement applicator tips! The other is still perfect and going strong!I’m so impressed with these, they’ve lasted so well and enable my son to effortlessly apply his own sunscreen without mess or help to rub it in!I will continue to buy these even when my son is grown up, as they’re so handy to just chuck in your bag and use while out and about and no messy hands! Win win!!!

My grandchildren aged 5 and 3 love these applicators. Apparently teachers can no longer apply the children’s sun cream, they have to apply it themselves. These applicators are easy for children to use without applying too much. Makes life a whole lot easier for Mum and less wastage.

So I really liked the idea of these and when we received them the children were super excited to try them.Pros: super easy to apply, spreads in an even layer so no need to rub in, kids love them and want to use them independently.Cons: easy to apply *only* if held upright (which they won’t as you need to apply it horizontally or upside down depending on body part) as the roll-on only works when the cream is running downwards. Need to fill with a lot of sun cream at a time or super annoying to apply as it doesn’t flow so easy. Easy to get sand in the sponge if on the beach. Unless always washing sponge then not happy to use it to apply cream to the face. Not the most efficient use of sunscreen, goes much further when applied by hand. I filled the two containers with cream from a whole bottle of lotion and it ran out after 3 days. Normally a bottle lasts a week. Much was still in the container but no longer rolled on. Just a bit too faffy.So overall my feeling is that these are just not worth the hassle and are too wasteful with the sun cream (which is not cheap these days!). I did like the sponge applicator as it meant my hands stayed clean and application was smooth and even but even so, we won’t be using these again on our next trip.

Easy to use without having your hands all sticky. Best thing ever!

Came across these as I have a child with a sensory aversion to applying sunscreen. I must say I was a bit dubious with how they would go as I haven't really found sunscreen rollers the best in the past.I must say that these have been a big hit though. The sponge nicely spreads the sunscreen without any need to actually get any sunscreen on your hands. I'm not too sure how well the sponge will last longevity wise so we'll have to wait and see but a week in and they're going well.

Theoretically this makes sense and would be a miraculous product, however I found that the sunscreen leaks out if we ever need to unscrew to refill and there is a good amount of product waste which gets the rest of the bottle messy. For this reason, we will be going back to the old fashion way of hand application.
