The rollers are really small…even smaller than the normal small rollers from years ago but they will work for me. The clips are difficult to fasten but I just exchanged them with some older clips that I had saved. For the price, I will work with them. I suggest using end papers to protect the hair because the foam is a bit rough.

Soft rollers that does not hurt during the night. It's comfortable and the curls are nice.

Of course, the clasp on these is flimsy and worthless -- BUT the sponge has a large enough hole in it that I use them on old, hard-plastic clasps that used to be produced for these curlers by Goody (you can still get vintage ones if you search); therefore, my curlers are still good. The DOWNSIDE is that the sponges fall apart before very long, but the price makes it feasible to easily replace them as they disintegrate. Still a good buy -- but don't buy them if you intend to use the clasps that they come with. THEY'RE NOT USA MADE, SO 'NUFF SAID!! -- KP HARWELL

I have been using foam curlers since my youth. Problem with the standard foam cur!ers in fabulous colors is they snag your hair at the ends. I swear by these satin lined curlers because they have never ever snagged my hair. I buy several packs and keep them handy to toss into my luggage when I am traveling.

Probably my fault. Should have checked them out better. Too small for me. I'll keep but probably won't get much use.

They work. It would be nice if they lasted longer but they're foam rollers, so what can you expect. Having said that, they serve my purpose. I became tired of becoming upset with my hair stylist and decided to wear my hair natural. I'm an older black female and decided to return to the days of wearing my hair natural. It is not as thick as when I was in my twenties so I won't refer to it as an Afro but I like it. However I wanted some curl to it and decided to braid my hair nightly and then roll it. Yes, lots of work but I get many compliments and even if I didn't, I would still do it. Another plus is that I do water aerobics weekly and the worry of wet hair and additional trips to the beauty shop has gone out the window.
