The original iron grates on my grill began to rust and split after 2 years, leaving long pieces of iron embedded in my steaks and chicken!These are better replacement grill porcelain coated grates (3 in a package) and they cost much less than the original iron grates.However, the porcelain grates are about 1/3 of an inch wider than the original grates, so I had a some difficulty getting them to fit into my Kenmore grill. So, when you install them, I suggest you lay each grill in the center part of the grill, where you have more room to squeeze them in. Then, slide one to the left and one to the right, before placing the third grate in the middle.The new grates don't stick as much as the old iron grates.DO NOT HIT THE GRATES WITH ANYTHING HARDER THAN YOUR HAND. A hammer will break off the porcelain (which is a baked on glass coating). Make sure you clean off the rails where the grates go before inserting the new grates. It was a tight fit, but it worked.

Considering the mail lady literally threw the package onto our sidewalk, they have proved themselves sturdy. They are not the exact grates for our grill, but fit pretty well, so I have no complaint. We measured the old ones and knew that the 1/2" variance could be distributed to the sides. The depth is perfect though. No difference there at all. They certainly will help get another 5 years out of our $300 stainless steel grill that we have had for several years now.

Made well and held up nicely this summer. It is a bit smaller on the sides, but it doesn't affect anything. Basically just makes a loud sound when I’m cleaning it, but it isn’t a big del. Has never fallen down into the grill, its just centimeters difference and that understandable since its universal. Would recommend to people looking to have a rust free surface to cook on. My old grates were in horrible shape, and these were a nice replacement until I am ready for a new grill.

These were technically not the direct replacement recommended to fit my BHG four burner (one side burner) grill sold by Walmart. The grill is made by Back Yard Grill. The dimensions were so close and the price less ($36 vs. $61 for the direct replacement on Amazon) that I decided to try them anyway. These grates fit well. They were also less than half the cost of grates I found elsewhere on the web. I am very pleased with their performance, especially since the original grates that came with the grill were not designed to last.

Fit well on my Charbroil model 463440109! There is a 1/2" tolerance side by side and 3/8" front to back allowing for a good loose fit. Easy to remove for thorough cleaning.

To replace worn out grates

Much better than the original ones that came with my Charbroil grill that I purchased in 2007. These are ceramic coated so when you get them, spray them on both sides with pam, wipe off excess light the grill, let them heat up for about 5 minutes at about 300,turn grill off, LET IT COOL, wipe with clean paper towels on both sides.Then spray a paper towel with Pam, rub on the top of the ceramic grates and you are done.Now you can cook your burgers or steaks without them sticking. Ceramic coated grates should be cleaned with a non-abrasive cleaner like dawn dish washing liquid and a sponge about every 5 cookouts. Always wipe clean with cooking oil afterwards that way you are cleaning and preserving the grates! HAPPY GRILLING FOLKS!
