EXTREMELY BRIGHT, seriously..
I wasn’t sure about these but so far I’m super impressed. They are brighter than i expected!I love that they are rechargeable, not only that, they use an 18650 battery which is upgradable to a 4000Mah if you need to. I happened to have some Sony VTC 6 ones for my vape, I thought it was bright before, but it was totally insane witch-craft with a VTC 6 in it. Which is a great plus! The power buttons are green when on and red when the battery needs charged as you can see in my photos.Three modes;Super BrightLess BrightStrobeI’m happy so far, keeping one in the bedroom and one for other stuff.

Very Bright
I bought these torches as the kids and I were attending a Beavers Camp. Our torch was the brightest there! I ended up using my phone torch at one point and nothing compares. When I received them they came with USB chargers and a little charge. Which did not last long. However we charged them up for a couple of hours. The button will go red when you need to charge the torch and green when it is fully charged.Sadly I cannot comment on the battery life as camp was cancelled and only used them in the dark for an hour or two whilst packing the car. In the dark. It was very useful and handy to have as it was bright. The torches are heavy and feel durable. You can recharge again and again without buying new batteries. Batteries cost a fortune so charging via USB would save me money. There is a clip on the torch that you can use to clip onto trousers or other items.Brilliant torch, easy to use and hold. And very bright.

Smoke started coming from it
I placed one of the torches on charge when a heavy amount of smoke started to come out via the USB port. This was quickly turned off in fear it may set on fire. It continued to have smoke coming from it for several seconds after being unplugged and the torch itself became extremely hot. The battery itself was fine and didn’t have any heat coming from it.Very disappointed!!

Twice The 🧐 Disappointment 🥺
Having a new member join our family a little black pug, with the little one’s confidence growing when taking him out into our fairly big garden at night, its not always possible to see where he is so these handy pocket torches would of been perfect for finding him, as the telescopic led light wouldn’t of been intrusive to my neighbours had they worked.A good on time delivery, a small perfectly sized box, (no instructions inside) first impressions they look great and felt solid. So if you can imagine after charging both torches for 5 hrs and not even a fading light between them they just didn’t work.I figured out they will only work plugged in switched on.I had read a lot of great reviews, i guess i was one of the unlucky one's.Thank you for reading my review, please click helpful thank you.

INCREDIBLE VALUE, GOOD QUALITY AND SUPER BRIGHT!
These LED torches represent incredible value for money and importantly, the progress in LED and battery technology since torches/flashlights of only 10 years ago.I have two Maglite ML300’s as well, which are multipurpose (use your brain) beasts of a torch, very bright as well. However.... stupid D cell batteries still.Enter these things, two of them for around £14, weatherproof, single 18650 cell, built in USB charging, zoomable beam, and SUPER SUPER BRIGHT. Battery life is excellent as to be expected from a torch with an 18650 in it, you can expect 4 hours ish on max brightness, and much much longer on standard brightness, which by the way is still waaayyyyyy brighter than you need for any use whatsoever.Awesome!

I think I've wasted my money
The usb cables supplied won't fit at all. One torch was supplied fully charged, but I haven't used it yet so don't know what the battery life is like. I won't be able to recharge it anyway! For some bizarre reason, one of my other chargers will fit the second torch, which is currently charging -I hope! - on my worktop, but it won't fit the first. The rubber protector over the charging port had come off the first torch and was loose in the box, so I don't know if the torch could have been damaged in transit. Normally I'd return these as not being fit for purpose, but I'm not going out at present because of the pandemic and don't have anyone to take them to the post office, so I'm just reluctantly accepting that I've wasted my money. I can only assume that either the torches are damaged or that the wrong charging cables were supplied. I note the positive reviews for these torches so maybe I've just been unlucky.

Don't Bother!!
I brought these a few months ago for dog walking, well before christmas 2019, within the first 3 weeks one of the torches got stuck on the S.O.S signal. I took the battery out and put it back in which reset it. a few weeks later one of the rubber covers for the recharge came off & I couldn't re-attach. The second torch lost it a month or so later! And they now just hold their charge for more than a few days. I know they were cheapish and took a risk but i would advice anyone looking for an easy, reliable pocket sized torch to go elsewhere and pay a little more...

Not a helpful instruction leaflet
Only just got it and at once you notice the sellers booklet is very big on what you shouldn't do but nothing helpful otherwise. Doesn't say how you can tell when the battery is charged for instance. The on / off button is a bit sticky and doesn't always switch off immediately plus the light flashes before eventually going off. Is this normal? Again the booklet doesn't say! The light given off is certainly very bright and the weight of the torch seems almost good enough to stun a small dog should the need arise.
