Dinosaur Electronics (Fan 50 Plus PINS Ignitor Board

Our furnace went out in our Motorhome. This is an upgraded motherboard. Doesn't look the same as the old but popped right in and works like a charm! Love it!

The fan on my furnace would not come on when the thermostat called for heat. The fan motor would run when supplied with power so I concluded the controller board was bad. I have a Suburban SF 42Q furnace with a 06-236879-002 board. This replacement board worked perfectly with very minor modifications. First, this board was (As described) is about 1/2 inch wider than the old board. To accommodate this width, I cut 1/2 inch from the hold down strip with my pliers. Second, the fan and power connectors are positioned at right angle from the old board which meant I had to twist these wires 90 degrees as I plugged them in. All other connectors were exactly like the ones on the old board. After reassembly, the furnace worked perfectly including the lockout when the flame does not light. Note: I accidentally tested this feature when I forgot to turn the gas back on and tried to start it - Oops and yea!. Some days my blunders work out for the better. I highly recommend this board as a replacement for the original board which only lasted two seasons. This one has a 3 year warranty.

Replaced the old with ease...!

I have owned 3 campers over the years and all at one point had a broken furnace board on the Atwood furnaces. I purchased one "factory" Atwood board for the first one just to have it die a couple months later (they are made overseas). Dinosaur products otherwise are made in America, great warranty and I have had 3 over the years that have worked for many years before I traded the campers in. I expect this one will provide years of great service as well and they are Made In The USA!

I could not find a credit for my board on their website. I had a brief phone conversation and they immediately steered me in the right direction. Received the board, plugged it in, and all good.The board has a quality appearance; pins and connectors fit exactly to my existing wiring leads. Board solder work looks of high quality. Functions perfectly.

Circuit board works as described. Everything was plug and play and I would say the install time was about 5 minutes once you get the old board out. This was installed on an Atwood heater in my RV. My old board was giving faults that were not there. Instead of replacing it with a factory board, I went with this one which is made in USA.

Hard to answer as I bought this for my son. He did install it & it did work. However, I dont know how much difficulty he had installing ut.
