Small and Unobtrusive
It's a good light for what it's made for. This isn't the weapon light that will light up the back 40 and blind you and everyone else. This light is bare minimum for small structure searching and for those who don't want a giant flashlight on the end of their rifle but recognize that it could be beneficial to have some light for emergencies. Now, looking at the light given what it is actually for. It's small and out of the way, the button to turn it on is recessed well enough to prevent accidental activation with your rifle slung accross your back, battery life is good enough, batteries can be easily found at the big box stores.I don't make a living kicking doors in or lighting up fields trying to catch suspects, but I might have to search my two bedroom apartment because the wife heard a noise, this light works perfect for that. I might want to go hunting, but then the sun drops faster than I expected and I'll have to walk home in the dark, I could use a red light to try to preserve some of my night vision but to give me a little light so I don't trip over a root, this light works for that.

Outstanding little light
Great light, fits very sturdy on my rail with no movement. On/off button has a good feel and the different modes are easy to use. Wanted something low profile and this is perfect!

Not bright AT ALL
you could buy a flashlight from a kid's toystore that is brighter than this thing...Also the button is a little too stiff in order to turn on, or hold for the "brighter" light. By default, the light is a very dim RED, and you have to hold the on button to switch to a normal white light. Not worth the money you pay for this, go with a different tactical light. The only pro is that it is pretty small and doesn't take up much railspace

Initial Impressions.
Initial impressions: This looks very similar to the Princeton Tec Switch Rail. Like, EXACTLY like it.Anyway, I had issues mounting it on my SureFire M63 rails because the light mount is a single piece that flexes when you tighten it. My rail has some hex screws near the muzzle that won't allow the unit to slide on from that end, and the delta ring won't allow it to slide on from the rear. That's not a fault with the light, that's just how the SureFire rail works. So, I uninstalled the rail and slipped the unit on. No issues after that.1. I wish it had a momentary on.2. The two levels of red LEDs were pretty decent.3. Not sure if I have need of the white led. If they made a dual-red LED model, I should have gotten that.4. The button is flush with the unit. so it's sometimes hard to index quickly. This prevents bumping it on accidentally, but also makes it hard to toggle quickly.6. One big issue is that the unit started to flash white/red for no reason. Flickering between the two like a strobe. I don't think this is a feature?Anyway, I'll train with it more and that might improve the score.

Judge it for what it is
First lets discuss what it is not. It's not a SureFire or StreamLight and does not compare to them. Now, what it is is a very compact and low cost LED rail mountable light. It seems to be pretty rugged, not water resistant. The brightness of the white and red LEDs are compatible to a typical LED keychain light. The red light is not a laser pointer as others have said, it is a flash light. It fit the rail of my Custom Shop Colt M45A1 1911 well. I like that is is so compact and does not add any weight to the front of the gun.The only drawback to me is the function of the one button on the unit. Here is how it works:1 press = low brightness red LED2 presses = low brightness white LED1 long press = high brightness red LED1 press followed by 1 long press = high brightness white LEDThe red LED is useless so it would make much more sense to have the white LED be the first press instead. Also, the ergonomics aren't great so the light is really useless in an immediate self defense situation.I gave it 5 stars for what it is. A cheap, tactical style, very low lumen light. It will not fill the job of a StreamLight but being realistic, it is not designed to. It is a novelty or an option for someone who wants a light on their weapon but doesn't want to spend the money for a real 600+ lumen tactical light. In the end it was only $30 and makes a handy light to use around the house.

Got it mounted on my AK runs like a champ stays on tight even after multi mag ...
Got it mounted on my AK runs like a champ stays on tight even after multi mag dumps and rifle being drop. Only slightly bad thing about this is the light is not very bright will not blind your attacker. But I you want a low light and even more important a red light so as to not destroy your own night vision this is a much better choice. The light weight with a red is what really sells me. If your clearing rooms at night and don't want to give you position away and still be able to see win your done this light will get the job done.

Serves Intended Purpose
Excellent light source for intended purpose. The TBLWR (TORCH Backup Light with white/red) is designed as home defense or CQB. It is not meant to light up the night or blind the opposition as a primary light source might. The low, yet adequate, lighting also reduces the users signature when searching for or approaching a target. If you're looking for a high-power light source, this is not the one - as it was not meant to be. The red LED provides illumination while preserving the users "night sight" once their eyes have adjusted to the dark. Users must be aware of the lights function compared to what they actually seek. That being said, this light functions well for its intended purpose. The only issue I have is with the recessed push button (which is advertised as such). The button is hard to actuate; one must press downward into the pad which requires using the pointing tip of the finger rather than a flat "print-side" depression. This, IMO, causes it to take longer to actuate the light source, virtually eliminating rapid deployment/engagement.

Almost perfect
If this cost $10 less and the activation button was easier to push, it would be the perfect little light for home defense PID. It's no surefire but it's not meant to be. It's meant to provide just enough (red) light to make sure your engaging the enemy and not a friendly.

Small, bright, perfect
I love this little light. It fits perfectly on my rail just ahead of my foregrip and it's the perfect spot for easy access to push button it on and off. It's actually really bright, as bright as you would need for indoor use, throughout the house when you need it, it will be good enough for that. Its compact, it's thin and it's bright.
