Very sturdy! Wasn't really paying attention to which one I bought but now that it arrived, I am very pleased with the quality. It does require assembly though.

This is a good value when it goes on sale and it looks very nice in the chrome. It comes with some self adhesive foam padding to help it fit doors of different thickness. My door was 1 3/8" thick, the supplied foam padding worked perfectly, and the instructions are easy to follow.I don't know what people are complaining about with needing to assemble this. If it here pre-assembled, the packaging would be 3x the size, which greatly increases the costs in the manufacturing and shipping process (takes up 3x as much space in a shipping container). This took exactly 5 minutes to assemble, and it worked perfectly. Assembly was a breeze, and they even include a small Phillips screwdriver (see photo)! It's not a high-quality screwdriver, but it's good enough that you don't want to just throw it away. They also included four extra screws, just in case (appreciate this kind of thoughtfulness).This is not a solid brass coat hook, or even a high-quality item from a designer - it is very inexpensive. You get what you pay for, and I was kind of amazed as just how light the hooks themselves are (plated aluminum alloy, from the look of it). They weigh virtually nothing--all the weight is in the steel frame. Hook strength is probably not great, but what are you hanging on it? I am using it for towels in the bathroom, for which it is perfect.Manufacturer and Amazon exceeded expectations with this item. Recommended.

No kidding, this is so sturdy, nice looking, super well made, easy to put together, beautiful craftsmanship, well packed, good instructions and holds a lot! I have other over the door hangers in all my rooms and this is by far the BEST! May be switching over my others. A great product for a great price.

Tldr: save your time and money and go to Target to purchase one that’s nicer/for the same priceAs someone who just completed putting together a queen, wood bedframe by herself with no issues, the assembly for this over the door hanger was ridiculous. First, this item should come pre-assembled to begin with and I’m not sure why the manufacturer decides to leave the last two hooks to the customer. Second, the instructions are lacking and the picture is teeny tiny. As other reviews mention, you need to hold 3 separate pieces of metal in perfectly perpendicular orientations so that the little holes perfectly line up, then you can screw the tiny little screw into the three aligned holes at once. And then do that four times. If the metal pieces aren’t aligned, the screw will not go all the way through. If you’re doing this by yourself, the pieces will probably slip out of place at least once and/or the screw will fall out while you’re trying to maintain alignment. If Target weren’t out of stock of these (because of back to school shopping), I would have just gone and purchased one from them.

The hooks are too close to actually use for coats and jackets but would be ok for shirts. I use this to hang my many leashes of different colors that match my many dog harnesses of different colors

I wish it was cheaper I would buy two more. Looks great and very sturdy

Nothing to dislikeas seen nice bright white ,strong hooks easy to fit and holds a lot of clothing !
