This comes fully assembled and it's very easy to install. I bought one for the back hose and one for the front. Hopefully the black coating will stay on! Amazon was much cheaper than Wayfair for the same product.

I have 2 of these now because they are that good.I have 1 with about half of 100' heavy commercial rubber hose on it and the tines are only about halfway into the ground. I had to soften the ground with water and got it only halfway because the ground is that hard. No hard pressure to force it, just as far as it would go without beating on it or jumping on it. Just firm pressure. It's solid as a rock.The other has a 75' of the same heavy commercial rubber hose and it's also in about half the depth, maybe a little more, but in a bed that isn't as stable, it's much looser. It's also just as solid. The 3 spikes/tines are spaced far apart enough to be very stable. Anyone that moves it around on a regular basis as I read in a not so good review, are asking for problems. Pushing the spikes/tines into the ground isn't something that should be done over and over, that's asking for problems if you're not even with pressure (or hammering it) and careful every time.Complaints about the height are strange. Granted, my hoses are very flexible but need to be twisted as you roll it up but it's easy to get a good loop, close to the foot/spikes and it's a perfect height to not stand out as much as it already does. Some hoses that are rigid will always be hard to roll up, and short loops will make it look spread apart but it works.It looks good, simple and functional and built well. Don't fall for the one that looks the same, is much cheaper but same appearance that's in pieces.I'm very happy with both and eventually I'll get both into the ground all the way but that's not a big deal for me, they are stable as can be. In time, the finish may fade in the sun, but that's easy to rectify. Like anything outside, I'll keep an eye on it.

Sturdy. Used for stainless steel 100 ft hose. Unfortunately, house foundation interrupts total installation. Wanted off of ground.I didn’t want holes in stucco. I must use steel hoses as wildlife was biting holes in rubber hoses in search of water.

What I really wanted was a cute hose basket or holder to sit on the porch, but they were all silly expensive or not my style, so I kept looking. I knew I didn't want to screw anything into the house siding, and minimal installation effort was the goal.This took all of maybe 5 minutes to set up. The hardest part was pushing it into the clay in the ground - I had to lean my entire body weight into it. Since then it's been very stable, despite high winds and regular deer visits. It holds my lightweight hose perfectly well, off the ground and out of sight. I imagine it could hold a more substantial hose easily as well. The height is just right for reaching from my porch, too.

Love this. Easy to use and looks nice too. Very sturdy and comes in one piece.

This is a great purchase just what I needed

I bought two of these so I’ll review twice just for posterities sake. These are short. Shorter than you think. Which may not be what you want but… how much thought have you really put into where the coiled up hose actually sits? Me? Not a lot. Got them and was mildly disappointed for a second. Literally a second. Put them in the ground (it had been raining for a few days so it was super easy and it feels secure) and was pleasantly surprised at how out of the way and tidy it looked. It’s exactly where it needs to be.

I thought I wanted a wheel/wind-up hose reel but they are so expensive! Instead opted for this gem and it is absolutely perfect. It's been in a garden bed, fully exposed to rain and all day sun, hasn't wobbled or moved an inch and holds my heavy duty rubber 100 foot hose with ease.

Put a 50 Ft heavy duty hose on this and It is holding up well. The large holding cup prevents kinks in the hose, even under intense sun and heat. I strapped the base to a wood frame for extra holding strength because our ground is very rocky.
