This Schluter drain was a complete waste of my money. I ordered it early and left it sitting in a closet. Today, when I went to install it, it didn't fit. I thought I had completely missed the measurement, but as it turns out, it is the advertised length that is wrong. It was advertised as 28", which meant I had plenty of room to miss the joist. But it is actually 29 1/2" long...so I can't miss the joist!I would appreciate it if Amazon would take this product back, as it is in it's original packaging. Yes, it's past the 30 days, but the advertised length is completely misleading!

Beware if you are not a pro, like me, and expect a drain that says 36" wide in the description to be 36" wide. It is actually a little over 37" and will not work with the Schluter 36" shower pan. Make sure you read the specifications. I gave it 3 stars because Schluter makes quality products.

You must be a professional tile setter to use this. Dont try it if you are not either a setter or a plumber. This works the way it is designed to work for a walk in shower with no curb.

This linear drain looks amazing in our master bath. I was concerned about how the trim was going to look as I hadn't been able to find good pictures but I needn't have worried. It compliments are modern, clean line look wanted for our renovation.
