Bought this cable at a local guitar store while I was having some resoldering done on my pickup controls. Within a week it crapped out and gave a terrible connection with tons of buzz and no clear signal. Took longer to determine that it was the cable and not the newly resoldered pickup or new amp I had just gotten. Total crap-- no way it's worth $40.

This is not thin weak cable. It's sturdy, and the connectors are solid and effective.
