how much weight will they take?

I have only hung dresses and shirts on the lower hanger and heavier items on the top hanger, sorry cannot be more helpful.

Can these work on all size hangers? I have thick white childrens hangers i want to use these on. Thanks

I don't have a thick hanger to try but the hole at the top measures 12 mm across. Hope this helps.
