Great microwave - But Removed the Plastic Film!
I bought this microwave nearly 6 years ago. Within the last year the paint on the bottom cracked where the wheels of the tray holder go round and around and I can see rust forming near there and around the bottom areas of the door. And now I think, I think I know why. We like this microwave, the style and size fit our kitchen decor and so, I bought a new one just like it to replace it even though I could expect the same problem to show up 6 years from now. Except - upon getting the new one I learned that the entire exterior is covered in a thin covering of plastic. And so was mine from 6 years ago! I never removed it back then. All this time not only was it covering the exterior metal surfaces, the vent slots on the left side were completely covered too! I think now, perhaps, that this resulted in keeping moisture from getting out of the microwave and promoted the paint separation and rust to form. A few of the Amazon user videos show stickers on top of their microwave. Seeing them tells me they too have not removed the film as the stickers would be removed along with the film gone from the surfaces. I hope I’ve resolved my past problem from being a future one. Instincts tell me to still be on guard of any moisture forming and collecting on the bottom interior surfaces. I have noticed tgat rubber feet on the bottom have been greatly enlarged so that the microwave won’t be rolling around like the old one did. That’s nice. Thanks and good luck.

Good looking microwave
The controls are not very intuitive at first but you get used to it. The best creator is that it suits splurge for a second, allowing you to open the door before the shooting beep... very helpful when using it in the morning while everybody else is still asleep

Weird controls but love it
This microwave fits perfectly in our kitchen! I’ve had it a year though and I still don’t know how to work all of the controls but it’s held up great!

INFERIOR DAMAGED MICROWAVE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX
A NEGATIVE STAR ITEM...Arrived SEVERELY DAMAGED yesterday right out of the Box!! Not sure if it was damaged in transit or shipped out of the warehouse, knowing it was a defective microwave. But someone is responsible for the MANGLED CONDITION it arrived in. It needs to be returned/exchanged immediately. Top right corner (see pic) looks Melted & Electrical Cord is weirdly bent...may be why it overheats if used in excess of 2 minutes. This was a gift to my elderly parents (90 & 92 yrs old), who're so disappointed in its awful condition, they really need a safe, functioning microwave. They waited 10 days for this piece of crap to arrive. Even if they could drive, they can't physically return it. What happened to QUALITY CONTROL when selecting items to be shipped out for delivery?? SHAME on AMAZON for allowing such INFERIOR products to be sold on their website. I will request a full refund as this model is unacceptable and unsafe. Save yourself certain aggravation...Don't purchase any COMFEE microwaves as they are of the WORST QUALITY.

BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU PLUG IT IN!
This little microwave is okay. EXTREMELY confusing buttons and horrible wait time till you can open the door that one can override manually but why need for this in the first place. Normal microwaves just end time and you can open the door, with this one you can't. Unless you force left side of the button and then open the door at the same time. Having said that.. BE VERY CAREFUL WHERE AND HOW YOU PLUG IT IN! The microwave is 700 W and if you run it in the kitchen plugged into a normal outlet.. as in one that does not have the little red and black buttons to reset in case of overload then you may run in trouble if you run any other appliance at the same time on the same circuit. Lets say you have this microw. running and on the next outlet on the same circuit you run your coffe maker and on the next one you have your toaster going.. and if none of those outlets have those mini breakers something this can cause frequent tripping of your breakers on the main board or even casue overheating of wires as there is way to much going on on the same circuit as in most cases all outlets in the kitchen aside from maybe your oven and or dishwasher run on the same circuit and are attached to one and the same circuit brekaer. So be careful. Ideally connect it only to protected outlet. And that same goes to any area of the house where you will have this thing connected to avoid any hazards. If you don't have safe outlets then upgrade them. It cost about 20 to 50 dollars per outlet to do so and it is for life and safe peace of mind. Anyway back to the item. It does what any microwave supposed to do. I don't care for any presets and I don't use any of them I only run by adding time minutes and for that it works but yes, I did not know about the circuits and stuff so it ended up overheating my wires and costly electric visit. So thread wisely. This goes to ANY microwave out there and any high watts item you use.. so anything over 800W and especially those big microwaves and or other things like coffee pots that can easily take 1500 W per piece .. beware!!! Good luck and many happy meals to you!

A unique look, laid back and easy going.
The easy to use door handle adds to its style. The smaller depth fits perfectly on the shelf and does not stick out like larger units. At 5'2'' I can reach the cupboard over it with no problem. It has a lower wattage level so food takes longer to cook. The operating buttons are a bit challenging, so keep the directions handy.

Way over engineered as are most appliances
Buyers remorse. Should have read the one star reviews .. have had a fire event in my house and don’t need another, Every item made today has some level of bad reviews. Brand names mean nothing. My ancient Emerson is back in its old place .. nothing today is made to last any reasonable time. Holding my breath on my 13 year old Kenmore Fridge ..when Kenmore used to mean something. Purchased this smaller size to fit a space now occupied by an early 80’s basic Emerson microwave which still works but may die down the road. People who think digital is more efficient and easier to use have not had the joys of a mechanical device, My old Emerson has three steps. A mechanical toggle switching between cook and defrost, A mechanical dial for the timer which requires only ONE motion unlike digital which often requires multiple stabbing to get where you want to go. And a on/off switch you just push which after over three decades does stick a bit. Still turns off when the door is opened to check done ness but engages when shutting the door instead of just pushing start again. This new item has a long list of power levels going up in 10% increments with absolutely no correlation to any function requiring such precise numbers, .. older microwaves often had Low, Medium or High settings which is infinitely easier. But precise wattage ala a regular oven ? Really? The “easy” presets for more commonly used foods or beverages belies the fact that they require very specific volume or weight for each setting listed. That means you must take time to PREP to make sure your amount matches the settings. More wasted time. I have a lot of mugs and many are hand crafted stoneware ..so they vary a bit with exactly how much liquid they hold. So I have to vet them all and designate which I can use on a preset? The instructions wisely say to monitor the device when in use so why have to fuss with presets? Just nuke it and test for doneness. As you would with any oven ..if it needs more time then do that. People are so enamored of digital …I used a two slice toaster once with a touch pad. Earrings on a pig Instead of a one motion mechanical dial to set toasting level. You had to stab at the touch pad ..even more annoying when you out the next two slices in you had to Re Set the toasting level because the device has no memory you can lock in. So a lot more effort to get what should be a simple result. My microwave needs are pretty basic and I guess I will eventually figure out what I won’t use on this new one… but, for now, I am in no hurry to do so.

It works very well
I read the negative comments, but found it so cute I went ahead and bought it. It s been 6 weeks and so far it s great!. Heats up my coffee, left overs very quickly. No trouble with burnt odors. There s a thin plastic film on the whole unit. So tight, you can hardly see it. You can open and close the door even with the film on it. But it covers the airing vents, so if you don't remove it completely, you will get a burnt plastic smell and eventually it will stop working. Just be sure to look for it and remove it.
