San Luis Rey Mexican Vanilla (8 fl oz)

Used to buy it when I lived in San Antonio, TX. One of the best vanillas.

Having grown up in S. TX, this is an essential part of our kitchen. And Leos Imports sent it and we received it quicker than promised. Good product and good service.

This vanilla is outstanding!

I have not found another vanilla that beats the taste of this one. It is a MUST for baking in my house now. Worth every penny!

I used to travel to Mexico several times a year for work and would always stock up on vanilla. But now it’s been a few years since my last trip and my stock is almost gone. I was looking for a good replacement, but San Luis Rey isn’t quite there. First, it does have corn syrup listed on the ingredients as well as vanillin(artificial), where as the stuff I would buy in the tourist shops does not. And the flavor is good, I think like very good store bought vanilla in the US, but it is missing the earthyness of the other stuff. So, for my taste, I’m still searching for vanilla.San Luis Rey was packaged very well! It is a glass jar and it comes bubble wrapped in a box and arrived safely.

The quality is superior to Madagascar Vanilla at half the price !!!!
