The quality of this frame is amazing and worth the price.

Really impressive frames! I like the shadow box effect it can create and the variety of ways you can use this frame: use a 5x7 picture with the mat that is provided with the frame, use a 8x10 picture without the mat, place the picture on top of a spacer that creates a shadow box effect, or place the picture right against the glass. I am using them for 8x10 photos, and even though I can’t use the mats (I wish I could because the matting would help create more depth for the shadow box effect), the fact you can create space between the picture and the glass still adds depth. It’s also a good way to keep the frame for a 8x10 picture on the smaller side, since matting (which necessitates a larger frame) isn’t essential in order to make the presentation look sophisticated.I honestly can’t get over the quality of these Frametory frames. The wood frame is quite solid and has a cream colored, smooth finish. The window is real glass that seems heavy and thick, and doesn’t seem to leave any finger prints at all. Even the other elements of the frame (the spacer that creates the shadow box effect and back of frame) are also surprisingly made well: the spacer is made of wood (or a thick material close to it) and the material of the back of the frame seems a lot more thicker than a standard cardboard you’d expect from typical photo frames. Another bonus: you can either hang the frames on the wall or place them on a table.The quality of the frames are so nice that they even improve the pictures that are in them! If I need any more frames, I’m definitely looking at Frametory first.

This is just a nice, sturdy frame that met my expectations. I ended up painting the mat to match my decor.

I bought these frames for my nursery. I love that I could choose if I wanted the prints to be brought to the front or pushed back like a shadow box. What I didn’t love was the hardware on the back. I ended up buying three sawtooth picture hangers and nailing them into the frames instead of using the hardware on the back. The hardware on the back doesn’t stick out at all so you can’t really hang the frames on a nail or screw. They look great now that I have the right hanging hardware.

Between you and me I usually spend $10 or less on a picture frame... but I recently purchased a painting I loved and wanted the perfect frame for it, this seemed to be the only one to fit the bill, and WOW. The frame is heavy and nice quality. I didn’t notice any chipping and the frame seemed well packaged. I thought the depth options for the frame were cool too, the deep set photo seems fancy to me compared to just having it pushed to the glass like most frames! My painting is an 11x14 and I felt like the mat was exactly that same size. I would have preferred it to have a little bit smaller of an opening so I didn’t have to be so careful getting the edges perfect. Not sure if my photo is actually a little small or if the mat is cut a little big. But the end result is lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to order again.
