Moen6610BN Brantford Two Handle Centerset Bathroom Faucet with Drain Assembly, 0.5, Brushed Nickel

A couple of years ago I had replaced a powder room sink faucet with a Moen Banbury. Had gone with less expensive for the powder room than Branfords I had used in master & guest en-suite baths. The Banbury drain pipe holes never meshed well with sink overflow (below the sink drain) which resulted in scummy accumulation around the drain pipe that created odor issue. And the gasket around the pop-up drain tended to hinder the last of the water from draining from the sink. This Brantford is higher quality metal (vs lots of plastic). It feels & looks nicer & drains more efficiently. (I also paired it with a Moen china sink.)

Nice faucet and very easy to install.

We wanted a nicer faucet and had been happen with the Moen in our kitchen and the warranty claim process, that we decided to get Moen for the Bathroom as well. It was easy to install, and looks great, now we need to order another to take care of the other bathroom.

I needed to replace my faucet, and I originally was making budget my primary requirement. However, once I started researching and looking at faucets, I realized my budget was not going to fit a faucet that was easy enough to install and a faucet that will be durable. I decided on this one because it seemed most people did not have issues with installation and with durability.I had a handyman install this, and he didn't seem to have any issues with the actual installation. The feel of the handles - turning water on / off - is beautiful. Very smooth! As far as looks go, this faucet is very pretty. Probably not as clean-lined as I would like, but very classic and very pretty. This faucet feels as though it is pretty substantial, and that is important. I really like this faucet for both function and looks.

Installed this faucet expecting issues with 30 year old plumbing and builders grade old faucet but no issues developed at all. Removing the old faucet and plumbing was the most time consuming but the new installation was quick and relatively easy. Diagramed and purchased the new plumbing materials before starting on the project which makes it easier. It looks great and my wife loves it.

Nice faucet, but make no mistake, the one I received is 1.2 gpm, not the currently stated 1.5 gpm. It says 1.2 printed on the box as well as a big sticker saying "NEW 1.2 gpm" - like that's a good thing. It's not.It's tolerable, but I would prefer something higher. With 1.2 you have to always have the faucet turned to full. Why not give me 1.5 or 1.8 and I can control the flow with the handle ?!Other than that, really nice faucet. Researching how to modify this to be 1.5 or 1.8, so if anyone knows, post here.Update 9/13/16 - I tracked down 1.8, which is as good as you can get - not sold here, but Google "neoperl 1.8 gmp cache aerator" and then on the site you want the 'tiny junior' size.Update - if you want 1.5, which there is a difference (not huge, but enough) - this is the part that works:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00606JS3I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I had these installed by a professional plumber with 40+ years in the business, and he told me three times he was impressed with the build quality. He has never said that about anything.I think that says a lot more than my opinion, which is that they look good and they work very nicely.
