Amazon Basics Medium Duty Storage Filing Box with Lid - Pack of 12, Letter / Legal Size

If I could marry a box, it would be this one. I live in a small house with no garage, so have to put things like Christmas ornaments under my bed. Unfortunately my bed weighs about the same as a small dinosaur. So, I have to attempt to lift said dinosaur with one hand while pushing several 14 inch tall plastic bins under that bed. It is torture.These boxes, are the perfect fit. For the price of four or five bins I got 12 of these giant boxes. They’re amazing. Plus, you could probably build a really cool fort with them.In the picture, I placed a regular file box to the left. It looks like these boxes are about twice the size of a regular file box turned sideways.

I never thought to check the dimensions. A Letter/legal bankers box should hold letter paper one way and legal paper the other.No complaints about these easy assemble auto bottom boxes. I can find a use for them. But, I really wanted standard sized boxes to stack with everything else.The review star rating was high enough I didn't read comments.

I always used the supply store brands, these are sturdy and a great value, as good as what I’ve used in the past. The one thing I would change is the bottom inside, where the flap is just a little small in covering the entire base leaving a small cardboard thickness ridge, (see photo) other that I like them a lot and I really like how the sides are double all the way down not just halfway like others I used. The lid fits well and it’s nice that they are all white, I didn’t like how another brand that I purchased had a color band around the outside. Time will tell how they stand up, but they seem like they will so I would certainly buy them again. If the make the flap cover the base I would give it 5 stars. Great deal!

These are very sturdy cardboard banker boxes, "medium duty" which seems right for us. Heavy duty is pretty impressive, but expensive. I wouldn't recommend any of the "light duty" banker boxes. I have bought medium duty banker boxes at office supply stores and paid way more than this version from Amazon. The quality is impressive.We recently moved storage units and I have put all our stuff in these boxes with a numbered system to keep track of contents. The boxes look great on the shelves, are easy to lift, carry and organize. I found assembly to be very easy, instructions were clear. The only downsides for me is size -- they are too small for certain items, like large picture frames, however, if you increased the size, you would increase the weight accordingly. Would be great if there were matching storage boxes in a larger size.

Compared these to everything out there and the price was the best for how much you get, really easy to put together just have to be careful not crease the box when your folding them but they look great all together and makes organizing a breeze, the initial shipping box that had the material in it was pretty heavy and the shipper ripped the box probably due to this reason but all of the items were okay.the boxes when fully assembled are really sturdy and I definitely load the boxes up to their potential. Amazon also offers a bunch of different sizes and package quantities and level of sturdiness that can fit anybodies need.

I have a lot of stackable cardboard storage boxes I bought from a membership warehouse store. Those boxes are from two manufacturers, Willamette or Weyerhaeuser, and are very sturdy.Amazon Basics Medium Duty boxes are not as burly. The cardboard is thinner and the box walls, after assembly, are less robust. But given the price, the ability to order from home, and the direct-to-your-door delivery, I think Amazon's boxes are a decent substitute in most cases. But if you need to stack boxes high or pack fragile items or store stuff in a place that is damp, you might be better off going with Heavy Duty boxes.

These boxes are longer than the typical office storage banker box. My mistake, should have measured first. But they hold a lot. Just really heavy when filled with office files. Too heavy for me, actually. I will make sure I buy the 15" in the future. But that is no fault of anyone but me because they state the size on the description. Duh! Anyway, they are SUPER easy to assemble. The easiest I've come across, actually. Seconds. Sturdy, too. No complaints. I will buy again, just smaller.

I needed a large quantity of storage boxes in a hurry for an office move so I ordered these. These assemble easy, are sturdy and a decent value for the money. Since purchasing these, I found my local Costco actually sells heavier duty boxes at a cheaper price per box in packs of 10. The caveat is that some but not all of my local Costco stores carry them. Note that Costco's "delivered to you door" price for their boxes is much higher than Amazon Prime if you can't find them in your local store. These medium duty boxes are still a good value when compared to the usual basic boxes from office supply chains.
