So pleased with these - such great value for money, and come with rechargeable batteries and charging cable too. An added bonus is that they can be used as power banks to charge up mobile phones, etc. I was prompted to write this review as I've noticed others have commented that they don't hold much charge. My advice is to fully charge before first use to get maximum battery life - items with rechargeable batteries are usually shipped with a minimal charge, so it could be that others are judging battery life based solely on this. My lamps are fully charged up and have got plenty of life in them.

Ordered a set of two lamps to take camping, they arrived prompted and well packed.One light does not work at all ( even after trying the batteries from the other lamp ) and the one that does work intermittently dims or goes off.It’s a shame as build quality feels good and I had high hopes.Pros- build qualityCons- non functioning

Received the LEDs very promptly, efficient service.However the product has disappointed - the LEDs wont stay on due to poor quality.The battery compartment cover is a poor fit, doesnt remain in place, and the spring contacts retaining the batteries is not sufficiently strong enough to hold the battery in place allowing electrical contact.The result is the light goes out if I move it from position A to position B...the light from the lamp is quite good, the unit is tidy, however the fact it doesnt remain on is a major flaw...very disappointed...refund/adequate replacement possible?

Excellent product. Produces a powerful high quality light which is equally suitable for general illumination,task work and emergency. The product is well designed and durable and its small size makes it easily portable while still providing excellent performance. The in-built handle doubles as a convenient and effective stand.The power supply system is perhaps the best feature. The light is supplied with two of the popular Lithium-ion 18650 cells. These are recharged by the integral usb charger. In addition the light can also be operated from 4 standard AA batteries-either rechargeable or standard alkaline cells. This means that the light could be used continuously if required and that a power source is available virtually anywhere.And finally the very reasonable price represents really excellent value.I am a professional portable lighting designer so like to think I am well qualified to rate this product.

Positives: Very bright, quite robust, easy to work with.Negatives: No magnetic parts, supplied rechargeable batteries last NOWHERE NEAR the stated 2-3 hour full-strength period. Mine dim after 50 minutes.Summary: If they were honest about the length of charge and I had made my purchasing choice based on that, I would be giving them 5 stars all round. As it is, I'm peed off with the false claims and consequently won't trust this seller and/or manufacturer again. Simples.

I got these to use as mobile up lighters to brighten up a dark shelter - I asked a question and a lot of the response said this would do the job. In practice it was the total opposite - it does nothing during the day and the power is equal to a basic hand torch. It’s much better suited for use in camping etc after sunset. I also think the price isn’t reflective of the size they’re quite small but it comes with the battery and is versatile in the sense that it uses normal charge and battery for back up. I would have preferred a detailed manual but that was non existent being an unregulated brand. It’s basic China stuff.

Bright and apparently robust construction, but there were no guidelines for setup/use of these lights e.g. charging time, charging indicator meaning (flashing/constant), run time on a full charge. Once the battery compartment sliding cover was found the installation of batteries was fairly intuitive. The batteries had some charge because the lights shone immediately on their installation. When connected to a power source using the USB connectors provided, the red indicator lights flashed and after about 3 hours showed solid so I assumed that the this meant the batteries were now fully charged.

bought these for working in a dark loft, they did not disappoint, i have not used the USB charge function as i needed a light not a charger lolGive out a nice spread of light and nice big button to turn on and off, the strobe is blinding.Great to have in the car or for an emergency.
