Great for all purposes
I needed a high capacity usb for the ability to share some large files between myself and a colleague - I have poor internet connection so this was the best option - it came with the bonus of being usb 3.2 gen 2 (silly naming convention) allowing for fast transfer speeds and also allowing me to run the files off the usb as though I was already using them on an internal nvme drive - may consider buying another larger capacity one in the future but this one does the trick

Excellent value pen drive with very good write speeds.
Great value pen drives that deliver good tranfer rates almost on a par with my sandisk extreme drives.

Surprisingly robust!
I bought this on 25th March for £39.44. on 29th March the price has jumped up to £47.44. Aside from the completely arbitrary pricing, this is an excellent USB stick. Free space is only 230GB out of the 256GB advertised, and the write speed can be variable, however the size for the price is fantastic. Plus, I accidentally managed to put it in a 40-degree wash for 2 hours and 40 minutes, complete with detergent and fabric softener. I only realised after finding it stuck in the rubber trim next to the drainage holes at the end of the wash! I took the lid off, tipped out all the water and left it on a radiator overnight. 12 hours later, good as new. Works flawlessly and scans with no errors! Very pleased indeed.

Very good USB stick
This product has some excellent reviews, so I will only Express where my experience differs. First, I will say that this USB stick is of good, robust quality. I was happy with the storage size, as the size 230GB is about right for a 256GB stick (in fact, considering base-2 read calculations, it should read around 238GB, but I'll let that slide). The USB stick is formatted as default as exFAT. I formatted it using NTFS as I only use Windows. Unable to format using FAT-32, which tells me this USB stick must be pretty new. WRITE SPEED: Writing to the ARCANITE from my PNY microSD card: max 95MB/s, min 8MB/s. Mainly sat around 25MB/s. To transfer 100GB from my PNY MicroSD to the ARCANITE took around 35 minutes. But this of course depended on the 100MB/s write speed of the PNY MicroSD. More importantly, and more relevant for those reading this review, writing to the ARCANITE from my laptop (SSD): max 177MB/s, min 20MB/s. Mainly sat at around 110MB/s. To transfer 100GB from my computer to the ARCANITE took around 10 minutes. READ SPEED: Transferring 10GB data from the ARCANITE to my laptop (SSD): max 360MB/s, min 185MB/s. Mainly sat at around 280MB/s. Total time less than 2 minutes. This would be around the same to delete files from the USB stick. Overall, very happy with the stick. Write speed is very good. It serves as a perfect little backup drive for my files.

Working well so far..
ARCANITE 128GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive tested... Speeds the same as advertised. Actually faster writing for a few GB's of writing.. 300MB/s for a short time. Speed pictures attached. Claimed to be 128GB but this one was only around 116GB after formatting and the usual manufacturers messing around with bits/bytes. HD Tune Pro showed it was actually a genuine 124 GB

Read 325 MB/s writes 125 MB/s - SSD speeds in a flash drive!
This is an excellent USB flash drive, fastest by far that I have come across. Write speeds sustained 125 MB/sec Read speeds sustained 325 MB/s. This is using a modern PC with USB 3.1 with NVMe hard drive ( Intel NUC 8i3BEH). Using my 4 year old HP laptop which with USB 3.0 gives the same write speeds but for some reason the reads slow after 8 GB of transfer - not sure why this is it may be to do with my laptop . On my Mac Mini which is USB2 where it is hampered by the slow USB interface to 26 MB/sec writes & 37 MB/sec reads So optimal performance depends upon your hardware. Screenshots attached

A good value large capacity USB drive
I brought my first of these to use with a HiFi component to store ripped music so that it could be played through the system. I have now got three of them and the other 2 are used for various transfer duties. The first one needed a bit of messing about to get it formatted in the correct way, (due to the requirements of the component), but once that was done it works perfectly. It provides plenty of storage for .WAV files and allows high quality music reproduction. Mine does not get overly hot in use and so far has worked faultlessly for 6 months. Transfer rates are limited by my old computer rather than the USB stick. They are therefore plenty fast enough for my needs. These are quite often on a deal price and so are even better value.

Write speeds start really high but drop fast
The write speeds seemed great starting around 190MB/sec but they quickly dropped to under 80MB/sec on a large file transfer. Still not terrible but disappointing with the high read speeds being quoted, you'd hope write speeds would be similar but alas not. Got it from Amazon Warehouse and it was a bit cheaper than normal.
