Horrible quality
The base was chipped when I unpacked it. There were already scrape marks on the telescoping poles. This item is entirely made of plastic. Not good stuff, like a polymer either. Plastic, like the toys sold at the Dollar store. $80 for this junk? I'm the sucker who bought it. Stay away folks. For $80 you can find a sturdy metal one.

Disappointed
Cheap. Not worth what I paid. It looks sturdy, black and, solid in the pictures. It is NOT. it is instead, plastic (base and top), very hollow/fragile and definitely cheap aluminum. Looks tacky and cheap. Definitely feel taken advantage of/swindled. Makes me not trust anything from this seller or anything recommended by Amazon. Sad.

Built like something from the dollar store
I bought this for a flag that I wanted displayed. The pole does not lock into the base and moves around often. This seems like it was built with cheap materials and not designed properly.

Cheapest made thing I have seen to date
The item is simple and over priced, but my biggest concern was not having all the parts. The pole had dents in it.
