Easy to install.
My dog chewed the plug off of a chord that supplies power to a plug in back massager. Super simple to connect and works perfect. All you will need to do is strip the existing wires and insert the bare ends of the wires into the plug, tighten the screws down and close the little door that is part of the plug and then you're done. The plug lays flat to the wall and is white so it matches the color of the wires. It actually looks better now then with the original plug.

Good construction. To make attaching your wires easier
Good construction. To make attaching your wires easier, strip the insulation at least twice as long as usual in order to more easily wrap the conductors around the terminals. Then just cut off the excess. Without that little tag end to hold on to it is somewhat difficult to make sure the conductor stays where it needs to while tightening the terminal screw. They are cheaper in the big Box Stores but I live 25 miles from the nearest one. It's hard to beat home delivery!

It works if you use it correctly
Saw a couple of reviews that were just wrong. One stated the screw is above the wire. The wire does NOT go all the way down the center. There are two notches that when you split apart the wires, they run through them. Two of my images show how it is ran inside.Another stated nothing holds the wire.I am using Southwire 16/2. One of my images shows the wire, not yet stripped and attached to the terminals, as it should run through the plug. I then closed the plug, snugged the screw and attached a 10lb weight (the weight is completely off the table in my image. It started to rotate so I touched it to the table just before lifting and getting the picture). I was able to lift the weight by the wire without it pulling out of the plug. You DO NOT strip the wire all the way to the end of the plug. The notches the wire travels through closes tightly onto the insulation.I went back a little over an inch. Started to strip the wire from there. Pulled the insulation but did not remove it. Twisted it and ran the wire around the screws (might have to run the screws in a bit so the wire will fit between the screw head and plug's body). One over the top and one under so that as the screws tighten, they will pull on the long side of the wire. I cut back the stripped end of insulation just a little so it fits in the plug body, but stays on the wire. this helps keep it from untwisting.

Perfect replacement plug, simple install.
The plug is a simple effective replacement for factory installed molded in plugs. Simply cut the wire above the broken spot, separate the two wires and strip the insulation. Then wrap the wires around each screw and tighten the screws. Close it up and screw it closed with the one included screw and presto!

Good plug.
Used this to replace the plug on a lamp. Easy fix, and hard to beat the price. Angle plugs hug the wall, reduce stress on the wire, and are better for staying out of the way. I trust the Leviton brand.

Right angle perfect for toaster cord. Note prongs/blades are not physically polarized.
Works fine. Replaced toaster plug which shorted where the cord from the plug went outwards and then bent downwards - under constant and repeated stress. This right-angle replacement plug was perfect as the cord now runs straight down towards the counter-top where the toaster sits - no stress. Note that prongs were not polarized (prongs are same size), so wire neutral/hot with care.
