This robe is very comfortable and made of towel-like material. It is a bit thicker than I expected, but I am still very happy with it. It will be perfect in he winter! I am 5'6", 130 lbs. I ordered the S/M.

This was exactly what I was looking for!I first bought a very heavy Turkish towel robe to replace my bath towel - because somehow "heavy" equated to "quality" in my mind, you know? Although it was cozy to slip on in the cold of winter, it was SO thick and heavy that it was difficult to towel off with. It also was quite large through the shoulders but narrow through the hips.I next tried a very lightweight waffle weave robe, to use in our hot summers. Again, comfortable and cool enough after a shower or bath, but not very effective as a towel, and again, the girth was too small. Because it was white, it showed stains from the rose oil I apply after bathing.This one is JUST RIGHT - I feel like Goldilocks, lol. It's a perfect weight - not too thick, not too thin - and quite absorbent. It fits much better through the shoulders, and there's plenty of material to keep it closed around the hips. (I wear size 18/20, with most of my weight in my rear.) The color is nice, too - and dark enough not to show oil spots. Very happy with this purchase.

I don't know why this item gets such excellent reviews. The size and color were as shown, however, it was like cardboard, not a fabric like substance, and the chemical smell was so bad, most people reading this may have smelled it before, it's the unfortunate chemical smell that comes with "cotton" products from sources you can't trust, or even those you used to be able to, but can't anymore.The chemical smell of this robe was so bad that I threw it away immediately. LIterally. I coulnd't even conceive of donating it or handling it (literally physically) any further. I wasn't going to take that kind of chance with my health or anyone else's. I'm glad others were pleased with what they received, but as time goes by, I've realized that even big named stores that I won't mention, aren't properly marking their fabric content online, and their items that are supposed to be cotton smell like chemicals (no where near as bad as this robe, nothing's come close to this one thankfully), but I felt compelled to post this review to give other people the chance to avoid the experience I had. Save your money, or put gloves on and send it back if you receive yours in a condition anything like mine was.

The one I received is of very high quality. It's medium weight. There's no inside tie, but the terrycloth stays closed. I'm 5'3", a size 16 in women's and the M/L fit great. It hits below my knees and the sleeves aren't too long. I've washed it once and did not get loose threads. Bought the beige and the color is warm and true to the picture. Better yet, the price was much more reasonable than big box stores.

First off, what I like about it. I'm 5'5", 220lbs (hey, I'm down 30+lbs) and the XL/XXL fits, wrapping with good coverage. The sleeves are only slightly longish (I could cuff but don't *have* to) and the belt is long enough to do the job. It's a mid-weight terry, thick enough to dry you off, not so heavy as to be stiff and cumbersome. I washed and dried it immediately, and saw only a few threads. The front patch pockets are so much more useful and flattering than side pockets. Okay, what knocked it down a star? (I debated 2). I ordered the sage, and the dye job was patchy, even before washing. I thought at first it was a lighting quirk, but no, there are areas that are sickly yellow-green rather than sage. If it was a 60 dollar robe, I'd send it back, but it isn't.

If you're looking for one of those nice thick, super-soft and plush bathrobes, this isn't it. Not even close.I mean, for around $30 I wasn't really expecting that. But I *was* expecting something that was at least soft, maybe medium thickness, and certainly with enough plush that it looked new, which I *also* did not get.I washed this when I got it and used vinegar since I heard that fabric softener can hinder the absorption and over time, the softness, of terry cloth. With that in mind I did not expect it to fluff up and be really soft. Still, compared with the towels I got and washed at the same time (which were also a little underwhelming, but even though the towels look a little thin and a little threadbare, are at least soft) this robe is scratchy. The loops are thin, and uneven, revealing the "base" of the robe underneath. You can see lines in the weave that make it look as though a thread has come unraveled, though on closer inspection, it is just matted/uneven loops/weaving. Despite this being brand-new, it just looks really thin and old and threadbare, like that one towel that's a dozen years old and super thin and scratchy that you keep to dry off your dog after walking him in the rain or giving him a bath. Like, you don't want to keep that towel, but you need something on hand for those occasions.Honestly, I haven't even worn it yet, it looks so uninviting. I usually don't immediately think about returning things (something in trying to get better about because frankly, it's silly to put up with something you're dissatisfied with) so in this case I missed my return window. It gets two stars because even though the cheapest towels at Wal-Mart are softer, fuller, and more plush (seriously, I bought $4 towels last weekend there that are better quality than the terry cloth on this robe) this will at least still function as a cover-up in the bathroom if I ever decide to use it.

Very ABSORBENT which was exactly what i was looking for! I expected this to be on the large side because I noticed that most terry cloth robes run big so I went two sizes down (I wear an XL top but purchased the medium size robe). This worked out perfectly and fits great. I would only recommend going one size down if you have a proportioned body type...I'm top heavy so I don't have the problem of the bottom not fitting well. It is a great quality robe for the price. Not too heavy but not thin either. Color looks exactly as pictured.

Compré una talla S para una persona de 1.50m y le quedó grande. Hubiera elegido una XS. Es muy suave y seca muy bien. Relación calidad-precio. La recomiendo.

I love my new bathrobe. It keeps me warm after a shower and stops me from shivering. The length is great. It goes right down to my ankles ... sooo comfy!

Muy conforme con la bata, el material es de toalla de buena absorción y medianamente ligera. Tiene delalles en la costura que la hace lucir de buena calidad. Es un producto genérico yo le regalé la bata a mi papá y le encanto.
